About
This enormous mall is one of Bangkok’s most popular shopping haunts, and bargain hunters will enjoy making their way through the hundreds of small shops selling electronics, souvenirs, cosmetics, and more. In addition, many visit the mall for the vendors trading in replica clothing and accessories. There is a food court and multiple eateries on each floor—look through the mall directory and pick from the local and international cuisines on offer. MBK Center is located near the Bangkok Art and Culture Center. Kick off your shopping mission by alighting at the National Stadium BTS Skytrain Station on a weekday morning. – Tripadvisor

    Visiting mall with kids
Good place to find souvenirs and gifts. Probably the cheapest place around to buy clothing, technology, food, etc. the place is very big, so you may lose your family easily. Make sure you agree on a meeting spot incase you get lost. The easiest one is McDonald, they have one at the main entrance. If you have small children you can lose them easily I had to carry my kids all the time. One thing I wish I knew before going is you can get strollers from the front desk for free, you give them your ID or passport and they will return them back once you give back the stroller. We lost some of our family members, the front desk staff announced the name on where to meet but the mall is so crowded and loud, it’s hard to hear the announcements. You can easily spend 3 days shopping in that mall. If you order a grab, the pick up points are very limited, mall is surrounded by metal to block people from walking out to the street. So check the spot from the outside before ordering the grab on the exist of the mall.

    Lots of quality goods
Huge amount of shops on each floor and from what I saw the quality of the goods on offer was very good. Good bartering skills needed to get a deal you’re happy with. Downside for my visit was some security alert that made them close up the shops, could have hung around but didn’t. I would recommend this mall and I visited around 11:00 am mid week so it wasn’t that busy.

    Great shopping experience.
Visited the centre in July 2023 and is the best shopping experience I have had in a long time. Plenty of shop, food and services offering basically everything under the sun. Admittedly we spend the majority of our time walking through the clothes market. Although they are fake designer items, they are of quite good quality and probably would go unnoticed unless under close inspection. All the staff are very friendly and happy to negotiate on price. Highly recommend this place especially if you want designer items without paying the prices.

Awesome shopping centre with plenty of choices including knock off designer goods
This shopping mall is about 500 metres away from Siam Paragon. They have heaps of shops to cater all budgets. You will need your bargaining skill handy or you’ll pay premium price. Some restaurants are very creative and looked awesome. Far more creative than western restaurant or food courts.

    Shopping madness
Mad shopping experience all under one roof. 5 floors with food at the top and scattered around. At the back of floor 3 is the ‘market’ where things are slightly cheaper. Bartering can be awkward but go roughly half and compromise. Lots sell the same so you can always walk to another stall.

Huge center selling all types of copy goods
Probably the primary shopping centre in Bangkok if you want to buy cheap good or fake copies. It is a huge center on multiple floors with hundreds of stalls that unashamedly sell all sorts of fake goods - clothes, electricals, etc. Having said that, you can buy some good quality material here for very reasonable prices. You are expected to bargain for everything. There are plenty of places to eat and clean toilets. You could spend hours or even days here.

    Good shopping place
We went there mostly for the electronics. They have fakes to original. Don’t know how honest they are, it’s a risk we took by buying a phone. They also have fake brands like polo shirts etc. And fake sneakers, from Nike to what ever brand. What I can say is you better like negotiating! You have to negotiate for everything!! It’s exhausting. I had the best foot massage there sadly it was my last day 😊.

Certainly worth a visit if you are not too far away
Unfortunately our holiday itinerary meant that we were never in Bangkok whilst the the Chatuchak market was open. MBK seemed the next best thing and we were able to pick up a few "Thailand related" gifts, some clothes and grab a bite to eat. It was nice to walk around for a bit and we were not hassled too much.

Great mall be prepared for a lot of walking.
Great shopping mall but be prepared for a lot of walking as it’s VERY long and narrow. My pacer app said I walked 4.3 miles in there. Absolutely great place if you need repairs to a phone or similar gadget. I had new ear pads fitted to my Beats headphones for 500b, by a very friendly lady in just 15 minutes. This area of the mall has around 200 sales/repair little shops.
Thank you for your visit. We look forward to visiting MBK Center again.

It's a bit overwhelming when you first go to MBK, one of Bangkok's shopping Meccas.
Stores and stalls within this multi storeyed shopping precinct make it hard to navigate, let alone find your way out, so it's best to grab one of the very detailed shopping guides when you arrive. Whole floors are devoted to various consumer desires - clothing on one floor, mobile phones and accessories on another, computersxand cameras, leather goods, food markets, you name it or want it, it's there at MBK and at really cheap prices. Last visit I bought a pair of comfortable, fit in the ear wireless headphones for AU$20. The sound is as crisp and clear as you could ever hope and equal to products costing $100 or more. MBK is at the terminal station at National Stadium on the skytrain system.

Visited here with family as the guide suggested us to go to this place instead of chatuchak market as it is more comfortable. He warned us to bargain for 1/3 of whatever price they are quoting. Its near closing time and no one is interested in showing us much. And more than that these ppl acted bad towards Chinese and Indians. I asked the price of a bag and they quoted 1500thb, its worth less than 500. So when I said its too much, the reply is “you Indians are how much-too much batch.” And some other girl who is also vendor came in laughed and joined the conversation. Felt really bad and walked out of that place.
Well you can visit this place if you really want to but there are a lot of other options. So its upto you..

This is a huge mall where you can probably get most things you may need. The traders to strike a deal with tend to be on the 6th floor. Prices are way high on some stalls up here but just stick to what you are willing to pay and you'll probably get it. Be prepared to walk away, they've a lot of competition and you've a lot of choice. Probably most stalls on any floor that aren't a recognised brand will do a deal. Food hall on the ground floor is good but I didn't think it was cheap. MBK is definitely worth a visit and is really easy to get to. Last stop on the Silom BTS line, the National Stadium.

You would love roaming in MBK center for sure. Each floor has a different category of items and the place is huge. It will easily take whole day for you to cover all the floors and all shops at MBK center. Not all shops entertain bargainers but still many of them do. Depends on your own skills to engage them into negotiations. Cloth, Mobile and accessories, Luggage bags, shoes, leather goods, watches etc. it has everything you could think of. A must visit for sure. Do not forget to visit their food court. Its decently priced and has a good variety of food to chose from.

I was a tourist in the city and wanted to shop on a budget, for me as well as gifts for my family and friends to take back. I could find a gamut of shops all selling amazing variety of all stuffs you can think of- bags, luggage, shoes, clothes, accessories, tech, food, luxury etc etc etc. However, there weren't stores who were selling the first copies of luxury brands which was a disappointment for me. Must visit for all your shopping needs.

MBK is an oversizing shopping center that is so big that one can't possibly get through it in a day. The prices are reasonable (and you can bargain with the mall stands- not the stores). They have a great food court on the six floor where you can purchase a ticket and then eat your way around to your heart's content (there are also restaurants on the same floor but you can eat well and super cheap if you go to the food court. It's a shopaholic paradise!

MBK has lost its glorious days for a long time now. When it was first open in mid 80s it was a magnet to most shoppers as it was a super cool shopping place for Bangkok. Indoor markets, designer brands, great bargains and good food court etc
Back then there weren't many competitions around till the beginning of 2000s.
No interesting bargains and the food court has got very expensive.
Sad to see its demise.

Mobile phone repair that caused more problems that did not exist before. Just had a new case installed. During ensuing days saw wifi signal very weak even close to my home wifi router. Also GPS no longer worked. Camera auto-focus and touch focus poor. Returned to shop and they got wifi working again. GPS and camera focus still no go. I was told I must change sim card but had same issues with multiple sim cards in 2 other countries. 30 seconds of google research showed my phone has issues with this because repair techs do not realize they sever the cable that connects GPS antenna and interrupt the rubber frame around camera. I returned to MBK showing them the detailed fix video on youtube but they ignored. I ended up doing repaor myself. Camera rubber frame was completely missing. Bet they inadvertently lost it. A simple aluminum foil strip reconnected GPS antenna. Many shops will call you trying to sell you something. Extremely annoying and I could not wait to leave. I notice prices on 2nd hand laptops ridiculous as they seem to want to scam tourists.

If your looking for good deals on copies this is a good place to shop, heaven for teenagers wanting trainers and brands like off white, boss, Nike, Ralph etc.

Some good stalls on the 1st floor, but don’t buy here straight away head up to 3rd floor at the end is an indoor market style area, this is where you can get good quality and low prices.

If your looking for tech stuff go to 4th floor, most stall offer 2 levels of goods a copy and 1st copy, so make sure you know what your getting, as the lower versions don’t work as well as you would want for example no noise cancellation on AirPods.

There are jewellery and watch shops on 2nd floor, I was sceptical about these, and although I generally trust Thai people I’m not so sure when it come to these stalls.

Arcade on 7th floor hood to kills some time for a fraction of the price at home.

Restaurant all over, offering a range of foods both for Thai food lover and fussy teens.

We spent the day here it was great did some shopping ate lunch and got a massage. There are multiple floor Gower we found the best floor was level 6 this is a market shopping area. Lots of cheap tees and hoodies. They are not allowed to show some of there products till the afternoon. If you are there in the morning I will have to ask them if they have specific brands they can then show you. Level 3 is great as well. They had a floor of electronic items however we found these very expensive compared to what they sell in China town
