According to Japan-Guide, 3 days.

Have you considered luggage delivery? They can typically hold your luggage for up to one week before delivery to your designated place.

Wow didn't know they can hold luggage for up to one week. That would be handy. How much does the service usually cost for just one typical large luggage?

I did consider luggage delivery, but it's not cheap. I have a few luggages so looking for a cheaper way to keep them. Thanks.

The cost depends on the size of your luggage. A large bag usually costs 500-600yen per day, from midnight to midnight. For example, if you put a bag in a coin locker at 3 pm on Day 1 and pick it up at 11 am the next day, you pay for 2 days. If you leave your bag longer than 3 days, they'll move it to storage in the station, You have to go to the office and claim it.

Some JR stations, including Shinagawa, are in Ecbo Cloak service network.

Is that mean if I pay enough so I can store my luggages there more than 2 days? I'm planning to put my luggages there on Sun noon and pick up on Tuesday noon, then pay 3 days. Is that right?

#7

That's correct. You pay for 3 days in your case.

Shinagawa Station has a lot of coin lockers within the gated area but not many outside. If you need to go inside the ticket gates, use your IC card to get in/out. It'll cost 140 yen. If you have no IC card, buy an entry ticket.

There are some outside the ticket gates. #4 is at the foot of the escalators outside on the Takanawa side.
