A percent sign (%) can be used to match zero or more characters of English words at the same time.e.g. appl% means to find documents having “apply”, “applies”, “applying”, “application” etc.

An underscore (_) can be used to match any single character within an English word.
e.g. appl_ means to find documents having “apple”, “apply”, etc.
Wildcards search is not applicable to searching Chinese words.
