What travelers are saying
- Linda HSingapore, Singapore13 contributionsWe were shopping around for Spa to relax our tired bodies after a day out at Lian Hua Park. We found the best in Shenzhen! Front staff were friendly and understood our requirement. My husband had a special request as he had a stomach operation and could not be in a prone position to do the massage. The masseur understood his problem and fine-tuned the massage to suit his condition. The session of massage was not compromised due to her skills. We are very satisfied. The place is well decorated, nice ambience. Most importantly, it is very clean. We enjoyed our massage. Highly recommended.Written September 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stan RDenver, CO105 contributionsThe place looked like a mini Epcot Center with a lot of very good restaurants and things to see. We were just there at night, but I will go back the next time I am in ShenzhenWritten November 5, 2012This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Meander162069974181 contributionAbsolutely amazing experience and 1 you can't find easily outside of China (I still haven't).
Nice decor and staff around. You can shower then dip in the pools. There are many services of which require tipping but you do not need to choose them and just go for the massage.
Can play snooker and video games area too.
There is a large chill out area with self service drinks station and ample fruits and snacks. There is a restaurant inside also.
Definitely worth a try if you are in Shenzhen after a long day of shopping / travelling about because after the massage, they can allow you to sleep over for the night too so you save on hotel for that night also.Written November 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Stunning view in the lounge area. Premium skin care and amenities available onsite. Excellent service.Written September 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Inside your taken to your lockers, have EVERY item of clothing you have folded, take a shower then it’s of to the main lounge.
100 plus lazy boys arranged in a big square. Order from a menu and get going with everything from toe massages to ear cleaning.
Great value and a fun way to spend 3 hours or so without spending too much.
Downside, but chaotic at Tim’s and he odd cigarette but in the showers. On the whole it’s a fun trip.
Nothing sketchy, you’ll see entire families here for a days relaxation.Written July 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I can recommend the 2 hour Oil massage which then alows one to stay the night and drift off to slumber land in a wondeful relaxed state. The facilities are clean and well maintained and some upgrading is currently being undertaken. You can have a haircut, all meals or just snacks with free fruit and tea available all day long. One cold easily spend a whole day or even two if the time permited and feel like you are in a world away from the daily normal life. Almost a mini holiday in itself.Written October 15, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Alvin Y28 contributionsIf you are in town for a few hours or even for the day, this would be a nice alternative to a conventional hotel. I think the minimal amount was $250 RMB, but you can have a massage and use of the amenities for $400 RMB. Certain food items are included.
The lounge area is dated but it doesn't matter for the amount of money you are spending. Everything is covered in white towels anyway.

- Wynn RMorgan Hill, CA1,963 contributionsThe Massage was priced at western prices, there was pressure at the front end to up sell packages and pressure at the end to buy a one year membership. The facilities were very nice which may account for the prices, but the massage skills were experienced amateurs, not trained professionals. Still it was a decent massage, but not epic like esalenWritten October 30, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - james_jazzyHong Kong9 contributionsWent to Shui Du this Friday evening for massage and relaxation. I stayed the night in their capsule beds.
My conclusion: it's a very similar experience to Queen Spa and Carnival Spa -- same business model, same type of facilities, same level of service, similar prices. The previous reviewer said "Leave the ratty old (spas) to the tourists who don't know better." I'm not sure what he or she is talking about. First of all, Queen and Carnival are anything but old and ratty. Secondly, it's not as if Shui Du is a hidden gem or anything. Yes, it's located near Lok Ma Chau rather than Lowu, but that hardly makes it off the beaten path.
My feeling is that these higher end Shenzhen places are getting a bit expensive for their utility. Shui Du is charging by 45-minute blocks rather than by the full hour. Moreover, their suggested tips start at RMB50! It all adds up and makes me wonder whether I'd be better off just finding a decent place in Hong Kong.Written May 11, 2009This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
