Shanghai-based Juneyao Airlines (HO) operates from hubs at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG). On time and reliable. Everything was great and the 10 trip was smooth. Many movies to watch. There were two meals served and beverages served. For me, the punctuality of a flight is important and this was the case here.

Great flight with very little turbulence. Rough landing however. Biggest issue is they pach you in the plane with very little leg and head room. Lacking in seat cushion as well. Landed early.

We chose Juneyao because of their lower fares and better baggage-allowance, and we didn't have high expectations, particularly since the only mail confirmation we got was a payment receipt with half of it in English and half in Chinese, one that puzzled even the Chinese visa application centre. Check-ins proved to be very efficient, though, as was the cabin crew service. The food wasn't great, but it seldom is on any airline in Economy. What didn't impress us was the low level of English proficiency (some crew members didn't understand a word) and the fact that you couldn't get any beer or wine with your meal on a 5+ hour international flight.…

I booked this flight on July 14 2023 through Agoda, on Sep13, a week before the scheduled date, I got an email though Agoda says the flight was cancelled. I started to contact with Junyao and Agoda from that date: 1. Agoda can't refund me because they need to check with the airline, and they got no response. 2. Junyao can't refund me because I booked through Agoda. I spent S$351, now don't know if I should buy a new ticket or wait for their response, Agoda says it will take up to 6 months. DO NOT BOOK JUNEYAO AIRLINES. Very bad and unprofessional. Cheating! We booked flights from bkk to Shanghai round trips, both flights were cancelled, only send an email no to notify. No calls or no phone messages were send to us at all. We found out at airport T depaitime. Call center, not valid number many times and then and nobody answer the calls. It is impossible to get refund. This is cheating ! …
