Yogi Bear 2 is a 2015 American animated family comedy film directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, produced by D.A. Nichols and Abbey Thickson, written by Brad Copeland, Erica Rivinoja, and James Krieg, and based on the animated series and the character created by Hanna-Barbera. Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake and Tom Cavanagh reprise their roles from the first film. Unlike the 2010 film (live action), this film is animated with 2D animation.
The film premiered at Westwood on January 2, 2015, and was theatrically released in the U.S. on January 16, 2015 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
The film was a box-office success like its predecessor, making a coronavirus film and a celebrity-starred television sitcom in 2020, named The Yogi Bear Comedy Hour and starring the film's cast. The sitcom lasts 3 seasons since 2020 until 2023.
Plot[]
After the events of the first film, Yogi Bear invites his amazing friends to Jellystone Park to celebrate his wedding with Cindy Bear, but troubles will come when Mr. Loud (Jason Isaacs) kidnaps Cindy. Yogi and his pals have a plan to rescue Cindy from Mr. Loud's clutches.
