YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio (WDTN) — A woman was killed in a shooting that took place on March 14.
A Yellow Springs police report obtained on Wednesday identifies the shooting victim as 71-year-old Connie Vang.
Officers found Vang shot on South High Street. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Yellow Springs police requested assistance from Ohio BCI while investigating the incident. They later identified Jackson Bleything as the suspect.
Authorities arrested Bleything on Sunday, March 17. He is facing several felony charges related to a prior incident. More charges in connection to the shooting are expected.
