Yang Mi, Tiffany Tang Yan and Liu Shishi were spotted attending Marie Claire magazine’s Women of Power event this week and as expected, all three stars showed up dressed to kill in menswear inspired outfits for the occasion.
Since appearing in the xianxia Chinese Paladin 3 仙剑奇侠传 twelve years ago, Yang Mi, Tiffany Tang Yan and Liu Shishi have rarely been photographed together publicly. Moreover, with the rumoured falling out between Yang Mi and Tang Yan when they used to be so close – Tang Yan was even a bridesmaid in Yang Mi and Hawick Lau’s wedding a few years ago, it was definitely a treat to see everyone reunited and enjoying each other’s company once again! I hope this means all’s well in their relationship and that we’d be seeing more of them together in the future soon.
The three lovely ladies from Chinese Paladin 3 joined Sun Li, Li Bing Bing, Ni Ni and Zhang Yuqi as they posed for a series of striking photographs in their black and white suiting for the fashion publication. Liu Shishi was even spotted turning a few heads, most notably from a fan who was stunned speechless after seeing her walk past.

She does not get on with them at all..even when she sat with any of them on the same couch at a Award ceremony. I wondered why? Generation Gap? I know Yang Mi is normally friendly to others but Yang Mi will not talk to her much too.

@Yooi, YangMi is a Public person…thus she will put on her public mask towards other celebs in professional events.. Is she really friendly on a personally, I dont know. But professionally, she is.

I think ZLY rarely appears/get invited for these collab photoshoots because she found stable fame later than those in the photo above, so she’s not really part of their “generation” even though she’s around the same age.
the people above found fame in the early 2000s and in some way they know each other as long-term friends or are former co-stars in the past (in leading/main roles), so this gives a reason for these magazines to invite them as a while bunch for a photoshoot so fans can feel nostalgic for their reunion. while ZLY didnt gain widespread fame until 2015 through the journey of flower and she has never collaborated with the women above in a leading/main role ever before, so she would just seem to be the odd one in the group. plus, by rumour, heard she has some beef with yang mi 🤷🏻♀️

For the people wondering why ZLY wasn’t there? there could be various reasons one, the actresses the posed for this photos as well most of the the ones that were there at the event seem to be actresses that became famous before the 2010’s which ZLY did not, not until like 2014/15, so maybe she was not invited, second ZYL has never worked with any of these actresses, so even if she went to the event it would be weird to see her all friendly and posing with them when she doesn’t even known them, she has never worked with any of them. Third, Ni Ni was also there posing with all the ladies and she is her now ex-husband FSF’s ex girlfriend and Yang Mi his rumored ex, so why would ZYL be posing all happy with them it will be just awkward and she is never even talk to them at other events while she was still married, so obviously she doesn’t want to interacted with them maybe for this reason or another, either way she doesn’t have to if she doesn’t want to since lastly it seems ZYL is an introvert, she doesn’t look comfortable at these type of events sometimes. I guess some international fans in here are not aware of this things so the question is natural to asked why ZYL would not be there, honestly it would have been kind of weird seeing her posing with of them, it would not make sense.
To be honest for some reason it still seems weird to me why all of sudden see these three ladies are back to being all so friendly at various events lately, when they have barely interacting or at all for years. The fact that none of them attended each others weddings, just Tang Yan at Yang Mi’s in 2014 but not after that and now are Shi Shi and Yang Mi are being super friendly and touch feely with each other again, Shi Shi even visited Yang Mi at her drama set, I guess whatever happened then, they have now made up, I mean they are older now and married with kids, maybe their friendships were not that deep in the first place, just young single girls who became close while working on the same projects a lot and later just drifted apart and move one and now ready start a new chapter in their friendships, it’s nice to see them together again though I still have my thoughts about Yang Mi, not really her fan.

Really un-understandable how ZLY is entitled to being introverted when she is obviously not. After she offended YM and others rudely, she just turn quiet on purpose and use her background as the excuse to not apologize. She always act as if people hate country people when that is not even the case. There are so many artists from the country. Not getting why ZLY fans do not know that she worked with YM before. It’s not that hard to Wikipedia. When ZLY was not famous and YM was still in love with her ex husband, YM even let him picked ZLY to be his lead as well, and they were intimidating in the show. To be honest, ZLY should know how to be grateful. Many articles here also kept saying ZLY is a shareholder of Strawbear, Niki Wu and Liu Shi Shi’s company so they should at least greet each other but ZLY is just conceited. She would only greet Niki but she wouldn’t greet Liu Shi Shi on purpose. She’s a bad business partner. Niki did not attend Chen Xiao’s wedding and only Liu Shi Shi attended because he needed to be a ZLY’s supporter, they want it to look like ZLY’s friends won’t attend his wedding because he was the cheater. ZLY fans once attacked Tang Yan before, it was because of the smallest thing ever, it was loud in an auditorium and Tang Yan didn’t hear ZLY asking her to move. But ZLY chose not to clarify and she pretends to be quiet when she wasn’t a quiet person from the start, maybe because Tang Yan was still YM’s besties at that time so she just didn’t want to bother respecting Tang Yan.

How did YM and ZLY relationship breakdown? I too feel ZLY behaviour towards YM was rather shocking..but she always had the victim card..and her fans are very loyal. In regards to Chen Xiao, I would say, he is so lucky to find a nice woman to marry. He is clearly a man with is homely and dedicated to his profession. He had proven himself by shedding his idol baggage and taking on suitable roles. And he is in a loving relationship with his family. What is really important for ZLY, only she knows…hope she does not regret any of her actions…But her fans will always support her. That is her blessing.

That complaint was around 2012. YM was the victim but didn’t complain, she still followed ZLY on social media. ZLY’s famous statement saying her face didn’t undergone plastic surgery, made her widely known as the only natural beauty still remain. She didn’t suffer much, the attack she got from that was worth it. In 2014 she still worked with YM’s husband. So although they were still not friends at that time, they had no beef yet, at least not from YM. Perhaps only ZLY, when she was crowned later that year as the golden eagle goddess nobody even knew her yet, most people mistook the goddess as Yang Mi instead, ZLY must be very unhappy once again.
After her success in 2015 she quickly became the highest paid actress. Her resources probably started fighting with YM from there. YM was known for working very hard. Since 2005, whether if she’s playing a big or small character, her acting skills would at least displayed for the viewers to judge if it’s good or bad. ZLY however, worked since 2007 but most of her characters were too brief to even judge, she only made small appearances but she didn’t even act. I know Rainie Yang was so adorable that she only made a short appearance on Meteor Garden and got way too famous, producers knew they must cast her. But ZLY was nothing like that, her brief appearances left no impression. After ZLY turned into a pretty face (YM) and that was how she got a few leading roles, her salary is already as huge as YM. She markets herself the hardest working actress who suffered many years as small characters, come on. Another thing, the amount of haters suddenly claiming to turn into fans was also too hard to trust. I think it’s still possible for YM and other actresses to be happy for her, but lots of fans start marketing ZLY the best while everyone else have terrible acting. From what I think, they must be feeling that ZLY only copied their acting after watching them act first, it’s too shameful for her fans to bluff just because they conquer the internet. If it’s illegal but the government doesn’t do anything then they’re probably behind her. Fans of ZLY are known to be better at acting and manipulating data, causing losses for many productions that used more time for better quality. All the directors she worked with are aware of this, it’s undeniable they all used her to traffic in good money without spending time on quality. And of course everyone knows ZLY married none other than FSF, some of YM’s left over. If people believe YM and other actresses starts to have beef with ZLY and ignoring her, I guess I can really see why they would.
