MACON, Ga. – Home games with SoCon foes The Citadel, Western Carolina, ETSU and Furman along with trips to face Auburn and Gardner-Webb highlight Mercer's 2022 football schedule.

Mercer's football season ticket packages for the five home games are available today. Season ticket holders can renew their packages and prospective season ticket holders can purchase packages by calling the Mercer Ticket Office at (478) 301-5470 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by visiting tickets.mercer.edu.

Mercer opens the 2022 campaign early at home with a Week 0 contest against Morehead State on August 27. The contest will be just one of 10 matchups on that day. 

The Bears will begin September with a trip to the Plains, where they will matchup with Auburn in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 3. 

Following the first of two open dates, for Mercer will commence league play when The Citadel visits Macon on Sept. 17. September will close with their final nonconference clash on the road at Gardner-Webb in Boiling Springs, N.C. on the 24th. 

Five consecutive conference games highlight the October portion of the season. Mercer will visit Wofford on the 1st and then hosts Western Carolina and ETSU in their following two. Back-to-back trips to Chattanooga and VMI close October on the 22nd and 29th. 

Following the Bears last bye week on Nov. 5, Mercer's final home game will be Nov. 12 when the Bears host Furman for Homecoming. Mercer will wrap up the 2022 regular season when they travel to Birmingham, Ala. to face Samford on Nov. 19. 2022 Mercer Football Schedule Times for all games are to be announced and all dates are subject to change.
