In a nutshell, it’s BAD

It’s beyond outdated, unfunny, stereotypical, unrelatable, and transparent for all the wrong reasons.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should...

Meh. Really disappointing examples of parenthood all around- couched in comedy- yes it can be funny, but at some point you realize you feel gross watching it- it's a low bar standard for parenting and uneccessarily sexual for the mere sake of keeping the audience engaged. I would not want my teen watching this.

Horrible depiction of mothers and women in the workforce

Despicable. Definitely not for kids. but also…. terrible show. Bad writing, bad acting, and lots of sexuality, even depicting children! I mean, are these babies actually these women’s?! Because if not, who gave up their infant to be forced-breastfed on TV by a total stranger?! I mean, a close up of this woman actually sticking her boob in this child’s mouth, stuffing it in while the baby is pushing away and crying. Felt wildly gross to watch if that’s not actually her own child. If it is, then phew!! I feel better, even though it felt like child exploitation still, which is best case scenario, but if not… then that feels very child-abusey. Super concerning and can’t find out any facts by googling. Anyhow… To boot, the ladies are wretched actors. Just terrible. Secondly, it’s like this show’s goal was to depict working moms in the worst possible light and failing at everything: work, marriage, and especially motherhood. But most importantly, as highlighted, the whole thing is super sexually charged. I watched two episodes and everything is laced with sexuality… one lady is so unhappy with her libido that she reads an erotic short story her coworker sends, then runs off to masturbate in the break room…. while pumping. and then gets caught and is happy about it. Another lady encourages her 9yo daughter to continue with her promiscuity if she wants to— kissing boys, and claims going against that is sex shaming her (and then later the girl is lifting her skirt for the boys in he playground). Another pretty drawn out scene the ladies sit around comparing their bare breasts… in a group class. It’s just overall bad. All bad. Don’t watch. But definitely DONT let your children watch.

Show Sexualizes Infants and Children

I decided to give this show a shot, and was quickly repulsed by the way that the show sexualized a baby and a 9-year-old girl. Here are some direct quotes. Anne: My 9 year old is highly provocative and my baby is already showing clear signs of sexual aggression. At bath time she pushes her privates towards the running faucet. To which the other woman replies "a sexual prodigy if you ask me" A couple minutes later Annes 9 year old daughter comes out in short shorts, a crop top and knee high socks and she speaks of wanting to go over a boys house to hang out one on one... The creators of this show should be ashamed of themselves that there is clear sexualization of minors. Not a surprise this happened, considering Cuties was also embraced on Netflix. On top of that all of the women in this show are unrelatable, hateable and have the personality of Jada Pinkett Smith infused with a college frat boy and make women seem like disgusting pigs. It's sad times we live in where people can openly sexualize children and get away with it.

Super funny, super inappropriate

I have a 17 y/o who is very mature. If she watched this show, I would not die, but also would feel weird recommending to her. Maybe in another year.

Definitely not for kids or teens.

Only watched 10 mins of this show to know that its not for me and there was so much swearing and bad messages for kids. It was like someone said to themselves lets make a show about being the worst possible parent. The mothers in the show seem to be proud of that. About 10 mins in it shows a woman using a breast pump and masturbating! Why on earth would you show someone using a breast pump and masturbating at the same time? There is nothing sexual about breastfeeding! As a mother I really really hope there is no parents in the world like these people. Disgusting behavior from both parents and children. Do not let children of any age watch this.

1st season was great.. 2nd season was different

I love the humor, the transparency of motherhood that is portrayed with minor sex scenes. During the second season, there were way too many sex scenes which turned me off.

This is a show for adult audiences. There is foul language, large amount of sexual content and alcohol. It makes me cringe to think of my 13 year old watching it, I just realized she'd been watching it unbeknownst to me. That being said, it's a super funny, laugh out loud kind of show. Hits home for this working mom. Shows strong women and reality of living in a mostly male dominated workforce.
