We only stayed for one night on the way to the airport but were made very welcome. Our room was on the ground floor with doors into the garden. It was spacious, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was probably the best during our three week tour and included scrambled eggs and bacon instead of the usual boiled eggs. There was a wide range of drinks including espresso , cappuccino , hot chocolate etc etc. Much appreciated. We can certainly recommend these lodgings.

We had a very nice stay here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. While it was cool and rainy during our stay, in nice weather you could enjoy the terrace off each room. There is free parking. Breakfast was delicious with eggs made to order. A very handy and reasonably priced drink machine provides soft drinks, wine and beer. Only downside was weak wi-fi in the room, better in the lobby.

We stayed here as part of a group, comfortable and spacious accommodation in a very quiet location on the edge of Wolfratshausen -comfortable beds, large room (we were on the top floor, room with bath), good breakfast. There are restaurants close by for meals. Hotel close to the station (1 hour to centre of Munich) and within a couple of hours drive from tourist locations such as Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Friendly staff and launderette next door!

Last august 2014, we rented a car in Munchen in order to spend one week in Tyrol. However, in our way to Tyrol, we got completely lost and soon was dark and night so we decided to continue our trip to Tyrol the day after. At this moment, we were in Wolfratshausen, so we asked for a hotel in this town. Someone reccomended us this hotel, so we found it by accident but was the best option for us that night. We travelled with a one year old baby, and asked for a double room with a cot. They got the room ready in less than 10 minutes, and the service was excellent, perfect, so kind! The day after, we had breakfast in the dinning room and the quality of the food is superb. Moreover, they cook for you if you have special requirements. The anecdote for us is that Lidia, who works at the hotel, is Catalan, like us (however, she looks very German!!) and while asking for some food in German, she changed to Catalan!! All the staff are very friendly, we spent a very good night at this hotel and were happy for our lost, otherwise, we certainly wouldn't have met this hotel and their staff. Best option for this city and the area of Baviera!

Recently, I was at Isartaler Hof on an extended stay. Because I was in Wolfratshausen to work on a project as well as to have an enjoyable experience, it was important to find a place that was both convenient to the town and provided comfort. My room was attractive and clean. And the decor throughout is tasteful in a charming Bavarian style. My terrace overlooking the grounds was wonderful to have on sunny afternoons and because the weather was so good, I was able to make good use of that feature. Breakfasts were excellent and the coffee machine with many choices a nice feature. The staff was helpful and made me feel at home. Train transportation to Munich is not far away and the town had a lovely shops with everything I needed.
I highly recommend the Isartaler Hof for a short or longer stay.

This is a really beautiful hotel, with large clean and nice rooms.
Breakfast is fairly good even though there isn't a large selection of food.

The Isartaler Hof is located into downtown, with the train station only 5 minutes walk away.

All the people of the staff are very kind and helpful, they also helped me to solve a small problem I had.

The only cons is that they do not have a restaurant, which is a little bit uncomfortable especially when you arrive in the evening and you have to check in, leave your belongings in the room and moving to a different place to have dinner

This could be the perfect hotel! Clean, well designed, cheerful staff, spacious rooms and bathrooms and excellent breakfast. The only snag was the pillows.( Square and too soft). The food on offer at breakfast was varied, with different types of bread smoked salmon, fruit etc, and an excellent coffee machine.
