Windsor Castle is the largest occupied castle in the world still used by resident monarchs. William the Conqueror built a wooden fortress on the site 900 years ago—and Windsor has been a royal palace and residence since. Despite its daily use for royal business, much of the palace is open to the public and well worth a visit.

What are people saying about Windsor Castle

Would do it again!
Our guide, Nick was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He gave us tons of information for every stop. Windsor Castle was great but if you want to explore both the castle and Cathedral you need to walk quickly due to time restrains. Aside from the down pour of rain Stonehenge was perfect. Would have loved more time to see the shops around Bath after visiting the Roman Bath House. The bus was clean and comfortable.

Fun adventure outside London
This tour couldn’t have been better. The arrival directions were easy to follow and the coach bus was clean and comfortable. Leon was our tour guide and was just incredible, charming and informative. We began the day at Windsor Castle and had time to wander through on our own. Next was Stonehenge, with a brief stop in bath and dinner at a quaint pub in Lacock. It was a lot packed into the day and well worth the money!

A must see if your in London and have time to visit.
The castle tour was very nice. Much recommend this tour as you get more time, but still just not enough to enough everything Windsor Castle has to offer. Also was a little disappointed the option lunch was in London and not around the castle as what I thought it would be. But still the food was great the tour was great the guide was knowledgeable and very easy to understand.
