Interesting, unknown aspect of WW2, with new information on the roles of President Roosevelt, the election of 1940, and an oilman you may have never heard of. I gave it only 3 out of 5 stars because it has a level of detail that may put some off, but I like some of the thought provoking statements the author made in this book, and I bet you will to.

This is a well written book. Mr. Davis lived a pretty interesting life and had an interesting death.

Overall I thought this was a decent book in an interesting time right before WW2. In reality the subject dies before any serious espionage takes place. Much build up then a death.
