<p>HIGH POINT – William Francis Lamb, Jr., 80, died Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Hospice Home at High Point.</p> <p>He was born November 18, 1940 in Bronx, New York and was the son of the late William Francis Lamb, Sr. and Eleanor Pratt Lamb. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a police officer for the New York Police Department for twenty-two years. William was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and a former member of Knights of Columbus.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Morrale.</p> <p>William is survived by his wife, Honoria Kennedy Lamb; daughter, Patricia Anne Goins (Robert) of Austin, Texas; three sons, William John Lamb (Melanie) of Stokesdale, Thomas Martin Lamb (Lana) of Saline, Michigan, and Joseph Michael Lamb of Lexington; two sisters, Patricia Peterson and Joyce Ingersol, both of Long Island, New York; brother, Joseph Lamb (Janice) of Connecticut; and seven grandchildren.</p> <p>Condolences may be sent to the family online on William’s tribute page at www.cumbyfuneral.com.</p> <p>Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point is serving the Lamb family.</p>Obituary
