1.0 out of 5 starsMore of A "Pat Yourself On The Back" Account of Author's "Scam-Exposing" Activities - Very Little Content re Scam Itself

Beneath the Book's Title on the Cover, is a subtitle that more accurately describes what this book is about: that is, what James L. Paris did to try and "bring down" this purported scam. (The Sunrise Scam: How I Exposed It and How They Tried to Stop Me) However, aside from generically describing how the operations worked, and citing a handful of communications he had with company representatives, he never gets around to "fleshing out" the specifics of how this scam worked, nor is the reader ever advised as to the real identify of the "man at the top" of the scam chain. Finally, and very importantly, we are told at the end of the book that to date, none of the "alleged" scammers were ever criminally charged/convicted. After reading this book, I do believe that there probably really was something irregular about Sunrise' activities - if only because of the apparent expertise of the "California guy", with whom Paris consulted - but Paris didn't sufficiently explain those activities. In closing, I should note that I had never heard of Mr. Paris prior to reading this book, nor am I now familiar with whatever his professional stature in the Christian financial community might be.
