The Knot Editors are experts across various topics: weddings, for one, and the numerous events preceding the big day. This includes the tradition of bach parties—that prewedding party often held in the form of a group vacation (or staycation if that's more your style). If you're planning to explore a new city for yours, send this comprehensive list of the best bachelorette party destinations to the group chat.

According to our internal data, 97% of all bachelorette parties are overnight events with one in four flying to fete a friend. While the usual suspects (Vegas, NYC and Nashville) first come to mind, a quieter stay in Santa Barbara or Seattle could fit the bill for the relaxation-minded. The bride who wants to get the aesthetic just right, on the other hand, will direct her besties to trendy towns like Santa Fe, Palm Springs, or Tulum. Our list of the best bach party destinations (including where to stay and eat, as well as things to do) covers various types of locations to suit every style of wedding party. Classic Bachelorette Destinations

Our data, which surveyed 650-plus bach party attendees in 2021, found the most frequented destinations were the typical culprits long associated with bachelorette parties. Over 80% of bachelorette parties take place in the mainland US, specifically across a handful of top cities. Number one on the list is arguably the crown jewel of bach party destinations, Las Vegas, followed by nearby Los Angeles. East Coast hotspots, New York, Miami and Nashville, trailed these locales by rounding out the top five. These classic US bachelorette party destinations offer a range of experiences for every type of group, especially those who want to toss on chic bach party dresses and party until dawn. Explore our picks below.

Las Vegas, Nevada

Sin City reigns for multiple reasons. The top destination for bachelorette parties, per our data, caters to big groups and offers unparalleled convenience and entertainment. Say what you want about Vegas, but the city offers world-class dining options and a variety of activities. From pool parties to the hottest DJ appearances across nightclubs, it certainly upholds its reputation as a viable bach party destination for those who want a memorable (and often raucous) getaway.

Cosmopolitan

Where to stay: This editor has witnessed numerous bach parties make their mark on establishments like The Cosmopolitan, MGM Grand and the ARIA, reputable haunts offering top dining and nightlife options for an easy-access stay. Other classic bach party hotels include The Palazzo and Caesars Palace. Discerning groups who enjoy the finer things in life will, however, turn to The Venetian.

Where to eat: The food options are truly endless in Vegas as many of the country's top restaurants have designated outposts throughout the various properties. Within The Cosmopolitan, consider Momofuku for Asian fusion. Sushi lovers will want to make a reservation at Nobu for the sightseeing, plus the yellowtail. Party atmosphere dinners are found at STK and TAO. Don't forget to pick up breakfast sandwiches at Eggslut to cure the hangover.

What to do: Grab your bachelorette swimsuits and join the poolside antics at Marquee Day Club. There's plenty to see in this all-access party city. Walking the strip is a dazzling experience and shopping options are endless too. Vegas is known for its thriving nightlife and is home to famed clubs like 1OAK and Hakkasan. If the group is full of foodies, book an experience through Taste Food Buzz Tours, an award-winning culinary experience that hits some prime destinations or stay at a resort with amazing restaurants. Finally, music-adoring wedding parties will want to cross their fingers to time their getaway with an opportunity to experience the likes of Adele or Celine Dion… live.

Los Angeles, California

The City of Angels has everything a bachelorette party needs: sunshine, the beach, fun nightlife, great shopping, diverse culinary options and the occasional or frequent celeb-spotting (if that's what your crew appreciates).

Shutters on the Beach

Where to stay: Once you've designated your chosen neighborhood (Beverly Hills, WeHo and Santa Monica are our top choices), you'll want to narrow down a spot that has either beach or pool access. The Ace Hotel Downtown is popular for bachelorette parties remaining through Sundays simply for its epic pool party and the Viceroy Santa Monica for its transition party scene too. Shutters on the Beach is also an option for wellness-adoring groups seeking luxury suites. Many prefer to rent a home through VRBO or Airbnb. In LA, one will almost always come with a pool or a beautiful view of the hills.

Where to eat: Pick up a quick morning coffee at Zinque and a recovery smoothie at Erewhon. Then enjoy a leisurely brunch at Republique or embrace the Southwest food traditions by eating at Gracias Madre. This delicious Mexican food restaurant offers local organic dishes with a fun twist—it's all vegan! The creative tequila cocktails are a perfect addition to your entrees.

What to do: Take a stroll down the Ocean Front Walk on foot, bike or Beach Barcycle. Don't forget to check out the Santa Monica farmers' markets and the mile-long strip on Abbot Kinney Boulevard for incredible shopping in Venice. And whether you're in the mood to relax and sip wine at Malibu Wines (an easy trip from the city) or get crafty with your bridesmaids with a floral arrangement class at Rolling Greens, there's something for everyone.

New York, New York

On the East Coast, New York City reigns as the bachelorette party destination. After all, what group of besties doesn't want to take a bite out of the Big Apple? The city offers iconic tourist backdrops (hello, Empire State), world-class shopping and boozy brunches. Across its five boroughs, bachelorette parties will find incredible dining options, adorable neighborhoods, enthralling views and a never-ending buzz that pulsates through its 8 million residents. Plus, there's nothing like throwing on your highest heels and cutest outfits (sashes are optional) for nights out in the City That Never Sleeps.

Where to stay: NYC is a town comprised of many neighborhoods (each unique in its own way), but Manhattan is arguably the most centralized for visitors and residents alike. Midtown's best option for bach parties, especially if your besties love Broadway, is the Sofitel New York. Centrally located and right off Fifth Avenue, this hotel makes it easy for groups to zip across the island from the Hudson to the FDR. Plus, the Balmain bathroom products are a sumptuous touch. Make your way down 10 to 15 blocks and you'll find yourself in NoMad, where the newest Virgin Hotel opened in April 2023. Richard Branson's latest property is inspired by the concept of "play," much in line with the bach party ethos. In Lower Manhattan, trendy options include the Standard East Village, PUBLIC Hotel or Sixty LES. If the bach party theme is Gossip Girl and the group is willing to splurge, The Ritz-Carlton Central Park on the Upper East Side offers unobstructed views of Central Park with direct access to world-class shopping on Fifth Avenue. Across the East River in Brooklyn, The Wythe Hotel, The Williamsburg Hotel and the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge all pass the vibe check too.

Where to eat: The range in types of cuisine in New York alone will require a diligent reservation system as you're planning. Bachelorette parties will particularly love the dinner scene, as well as another city pastime: brunching. Options include Laduree Soho for a pretty French garden experience, Russ & Daughters (if you can get in), or Jack's Wife Freda (fair warning: the newest location in Soho is scene-y and deliciously ripe for people-watching). For dinner, snag a table at Carbone, where the spicy rigatoni is a must, or the revamped Monkey Bar, where gorgeous people sightings are common. Finally, if it's a Meatpacking evening, Catch is your best bet, followed by a night at Le Bain.

What to do: For the workout enthusiasts, start the day with Peloton, Barry's Bootcamp or SLT (this editor's favorite). After a refreshing morning and Juice Generation smoothies, book blowouts at a nearby DryBar. The afternoon itinerary should involve some walking and sightseeing. We recommend visiting the legendary Plaza Hotel for high tea at the Palm Court. Slip upstairs for a group etiquette class with the expert herself, Myka Meier of Beaumont Etiquette. (Who's going to tell the group how to behave at the wedding?) If your crew has a great sense of humor, stop by the Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village, where random drop-ins have included the likes of Jerry Seinfeld and Tracy Morgan. The group who wants an elevated experience, and we're being literal, should set their sights on the One World Observatory or The Edge NYC in Hudson Yards. At last: no New York trip is complete without shopping, a Broadway show or two, and a sunset cocktail at one of the city's many rooftop bars.

Miami, Florida

Miami is a smoldering, lively city full of vibrant culture, delicious eats, renowned partying. The 305 is also home to gorgeous properties to accommodate groups, especially those who want to party by the beach… or on a mega yacht.

Where to stay: Miami boasts a range of luxurious accommodations and offers a party-friendly atmosphere. For both, consider The Confidante, The Standard Spa or the legendary Fontainebleau Miami Beach. In South Beach, Pharrell Williams and Dave Grutman's The Goodtime Hotel has the aesthetic of a bach party dream. The W South Beach is another memorable place to party and crash. At most of these properties, you can reserve suites and recover poolside in your cabana while sipping mojitos or detox smoothies.

Where to eat: Miami is another foodie destination with endless options particularly specializing in Mexican, Peruvian and Cuban cuisine (like Sanguich sandwiches). Swan and Lido Bayside Grill are popular for brunch. For most dinners, anticipate steep prices and make early reservations (we recommend the sexy Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann over at the Faena). Other spots frequented by big groups include Nobu, Joe's Stone Crab and the bachelorette party-beloved Joia Beach or Nikki Beach. Then stop by Bodega for tacos and tequila.

What to do: Each neighborhood in Miami has its own distinct feel; Wynwood (for its colorful stretch of walls) and South Beach are particularly popular among bach parties. Plus, there are so many beach clubs and so little time. Boat rides are a fun group activity, while the nightlife and pool parties in Miami are unparalleled. Dress to the nines and head to the Fontainebleau for its near-legendary nightlife scene. You might catch a set by a leading DJ and you'll most certainly walk away with stories for years.

Chicago, Illinois

Sure, midwesterners love Chicago, but so do most visitors—especially those with an affinity for towering skyscrapers and deep dish pizza. In the summer, Chicago's glistening waterfront is teeming with activity, making the city an ideal destination for bach partygoers.

Where to stay: The Pendry Chicago is perfect for a girls getaway and even offers packages for groups willing to splurge for an unforgettably fancy experience. The Peninsula is an alternative, especially for wedding parties who want the five-star suite escape. Affordable-yet-luxury options include The Gwen on Michigan Avenue and The Blackstone Hotel.

Where to eat: For an upscale lunch or meal, make reservations at the RL Restaurant (Chicago's preppy dining outpost of Ralph Lauren, which serves fare good enough to be acknowledged by Oprah). Group dining options are abundant across the city, including The Whale Chicago and Giuliana and Bill Rancic's RPM Italian.

What to do: No visit to Chicago is complete without seeing Millennium Park, where groups will be dazzled by Frank Gehry's Pritzker Pavilion and the BP Pedestrian Bridge. Chicago has a fabulous bar scene, whether you want to drink during the day or hit the lounges at night. We recommend the kitschy Three Dots and a Dash for at tropical experience.

Nashville, Tennessee

In the last decade, Nashville has cemented its position as a top-five US bachelorette destination. The city offers live country music, has plenty of Southern charm and delicious fare, making it the ideal destination for country music-blasting bachelorette parties. If you adore country without the crowds, explore our bachelorette guide for lesser-known alternatives with the same amount of charm.

Where to stay: The historic Union Station Hotel, the sophisticated Hermitage Hotel and the Holston House are all beautiful and central properties. Rental homes are also popular in Nashville. For the highest level of convenience, you'll want Music Row, The Gulch and Midtown to either be a short walk or quick Uber ride away.

Where to eat: For brunch, don't miss Biscuit Love for the Southern classic, biscuits and gravy, or its famed Bonuts (fried biscuit donuts). The restaurant doesn't take reservations, so get there early or be prepared to wait. For dinner, enjoy some guac and margaritas at Saint Anejo or a scenic sit-down with your girls at The Farmhouse on the river. Follow a delicious meal with mouthwatering cocktails at The Fox and, if you're up for the party, Tootsies is a must.

What to do: You'll definitely want to reserve a pedal pub for you and your girls during the day. The 15-person bike-slash-pub is BYOB and a fun way to enjoy some drinks while touring the city. At night, hit Honky Tonk on Broadway for three levels of live music and dancing. It's bachelorette/bachelor party central in there, so don't be surprised to see other groups with matching T-shirts.

Dallas, Texas

A top 10 most popular bachelorette party destination in the US, Dallas has all the "musts" for a traditional weekend getaway: restaurants, rooftop pools and plenty of bars.

Where to stay: Thompson Dallas is a one-stop shop for bachelorette parties as it contains two penthouse suites, a floral design studio, a hair lounge, and two well-known restaurants on-site. Plus, the art-adoring groups will appreciate works by Damien Hirst and Stephen Wilson. Speaking of art, the HALL Arts Hotel boasts a rooftop pool and opened in late 2019. Of course, there's also the Instagram-friendly Joule Hotel (with a rooftop pool) or the Magnolia Hotel, where happy hours abound and a complimentary milk and cookie bar caps off your evening.

Where to eat: Steakhouses, barbecue, Tex-Mex (you are in Texas, after all) and comfort food are the most popular options when it comes to group dining in Dallas. While TripAdvisor is your best bet for exploration, believe us when we say Cattleack Barbeque (CBBQ) is one highly recommended spot.

What to do: The city is home to the Dallas Arts District, the country's largest arts district, meaning there's plenty of culture, art and architecture to appreciate in this town. Dallas also has a thriving nightlife environment for groups who love to party. Heels are encouraged and blowouts are a must for a glamorous night out on the town. (BAM Blowouts is one of the top-rated spots in the city.)

Orlando, Florida

Throw on your Minnie Ears and grab those wizarding wands from Ollivander's: Magic Kingdom and Diagon Alley await. Orlando is a popular bach party destination in the US, especially for Disney and Harry Potter adoring groups. Between multiple theme parks and plenty of nightlife, this destination offers convenience and fun for an unbeatable, magical bachelorette party.

Where to stay: If you're planning to visit multiple theme parks and relax poolside for your getaway, the Four Seasons Orlando is a prime choice for bachelorette party stays. The property boasts spa packages, luxurious golf courses and shopping, including Stoney Clover Lane and custom Disney patches. Within Disney World, the Grand Floridian has been the luxury hotel of choice for girls' trips. There are plenty of villa-style accommodations sprinkled throughout the park (though, of note: they must be booked far in advance). If you want to remain close to Epcot (who could blame you), the Yacht Club is a viable bet, especially since the Beach Club offers an easy way to relax and cool down from the beating Florida sun.

Where to eat: La Cava del Tequila is one of the best bachelorette party spots for groups to order tequila flights, plus margaritas. Tutto Italia Ristorante is another lovely choice in Epcot while France offers delicious bistro fare. Disney Springs is teeming with dining, shopping and nightlife including the Wine Bar George and The Edison, a nightclub where you and your girls can dance the night away and awake to another promising day at the park.

What to do: This one is simple: get your photo opportunities in Magic Kingdom with the bridesmaids. The other popular option is located just 20 minutes away at Universal Orlando, where the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has even more magic in store.

Houston, Texas

The city of Houston offers far more than space expeditions and exploration. Bachelorette parties will thrive in HTX with its high-end experiences, including shopping and fine dining. (And more shopping!) Party-hopping and rooftop hotel drinks are also abundant across this southern city. It's worth noting Houston has emerged as a top 10 bachelorette city in the US, which means it's a guaranteed good time for you and your besties.

Where to stay: For elevated service, Houston is home to two JW Marriott properties: the JW Marriott Houston by the Galleria and the JW Marriott Downtown Houston. The Post Oak Hotel is a well-known luxury option if you want to experience the very best during your time in this fun and affordable Texas town.

Where to eat: Groups will love the Instagram-friendly aesthetic of Indianola, which offers plus pink booths, along with Bloom & Bee at the Post Oak Hotel. Tex-Mex is a must in Texas, as is brunch. If you're looking for the very best dining experiences, One Fifth, Squable and Xin Chao are top-rated options. Follow it with a late-night slice at Vinny's.

What to do: Houston is approachable, especially for groups who want to bar hop or day drink. Bachelorette parties may want to explore local breweries during the day, like the Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company, or they can nurse the previous evening's hangover by relaxing poolside with a mimosa (especially Texas in the summer).

You've likely seen the next bachelorette party destinations across your social media feeds. These are trending party spots and for good reason: these locations are manageable, unique in terms of experiences and group-friendly options. From Palm Springs to Tulum, grab your cutest summer dresses, sunnies and your crew.

Puerto Rico

Located between the British Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico is a US territory beloved for its tropical rainforest and other natural Caribbean features. It's also a great spot for those vying for a beach bachelorette party in 2024. Close to the East Coast of the US, most groups will devote a short-distance flight to arrive in a world enriched with culture and fun. Your girls will love the vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene in San Juan, as well as the beauty of the island during the daytime.

Where to stay: The island runs the gamut when it comes to bachelorette hotel options. Either check into an Airbnb (and believe us, there are numerous bachelorette rental options, like this top-rated apartment or this oceanfront home). Depending on the central base, groups can easily access amazing nightlife options and a delightful culinary scene. For this, we recommend a stay at the Don Rafa Boutique Hotel or the Olive Hotel.

What to eat: Group dining options in San Juan that your bach party will love include Celeste, Cuarto 16 or Raya (not the app, but the Asian fusion restaurant by Chef Mario Pagan).

What to do: The island is your oyster. First, you'll want to rent a car as it'll alleviate any issues related to transfers and daytime outings to outer islands. Adventurous groups will want to head to Culebra Island or enjoy a road trip to Naranjito. Nightlife options are teeming in San Juan, including ARYA Rooftop for pre-or post-dinner cocktails, followed by karaoke at Arena Medalla.

Tulum, Mexico

Pack your swimsuits and flock to the Yucatán Peninsula for an oceanfront stay at one of the many properties dotting the thick brushes of jungle-meets-ocean in this trendy part of Mexico. With sprawling oceanfront developments and easy access to Cancun International Airport from the East Coast of the US, Tulum and nearby Playa del Carmen are excellent options for a bach party getaway.

tulum hotel bachelorette

Where to stay: Options include Palmaïa, The House of AïA, an all-inclusive wellness resort, or The Mezzanine, where plunge pools, oceanfront yoga, sound baths and DJ sets await. If you're looking for distinctive dining and bar options, turn to the Mi Amor Colibri Boutique Hotel and go barefoot the entire time. Parties who are willing to splurge (though the price is well worth the stay) should consider sister properties, the bright and airy Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort, and its more refined sibling, The Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya.

Where to eat: If your besties are the types to enjoy a sound bath meditation, typically have a penchant for vacationing across the Caribbean, and celebrate Taco Tuesdays without fail (no shame in a taco game), Tulum is a worthy choice for an international bachelorette destination. Some of the standout options for fine dining include Loco, Tantra and La Zebra. Turn to TripAdvisor or Expedia for more local restaurant recommendations.

What to do: What else is there to do in Tulum but relax in style, recline on its beautiful beaches, and down fresh-squeezed juice (perhaps with a tequila shot)? From late November through summer, the locale is a paradise for those who want the sea and a thriving nightlife scene. For the more adventurous bachelorette party groups, visiting the ruins, sailing, and snorkeling excursions await too.

Santa Fe, New Mexico

Let's be honest: this region is teeming with new development and interesting culture, making it one of the leading trending destinations for a slew of celebrations, including bachelorette parties and western-themed weddings.

Where to stay: Book a chalet, a renovated guesthouse or a unique dome home on Airbnb. Groups that really want to splurge should seriously consider a stay at Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resorts, one of the most buzzed-about recent hotel openings in the US.

What to eat: Good food is a given in Santa Fe. Groups will love the al fresco ambiance at La Plazuela at La Fonda on the Plaza or the energy within the Coyote Cafe.

What to do: Adobe homes, winding and charming streets, and Pueblo-style structures will give the design-adoring bunch much to see and explore. Must-dos include the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Canyon Road, and Meow Wolf Santa Fe. The city also sits on the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo for outdoor adventure.

Mexico City, Mexico

Ask anyone who travels consistently and Mexico City has made an impact on the jet-setting and trendy types. Mexico City has it all: it's a cosmopolitan and demure destination that's home to a world-class fine-dining scene, as well as authentic cultural cuisine (tortas, tacos and churros). Comprised of a variety of neighborhoods (each with its distinct feeling), Mexico City also offers incredible culture for the museum buffs out there. The city is vibrant and lively, and groups will enjoy an international getaway less than four hours away from most major cities.

Where to stay: Groups should stay in the safe and charming neighborhoods of La Condesa (Condesa), Roma Norte (Roma), Zona Rosa and Centro Historico (or Centro). The Sofitel in Reforma is highly recommended due to its location and brand name recognition. Sonder also offers a chic stay in La Roma. The European-inspired homes of Condesa are particularly conducive for bigger groups if you're looking for rentals. We recommend VRBO.

Where to eat: Cantina del Bosque is highly recommended as it accommodates groups and discerning appetites, as is the case in Roma at Blanco Colima. Seafood restaurant Contramar is another reputable name with decor to match. The bright establishment is perfect for groups that want a scene--and to be seen.

What to do: There's much to do in Mexico City between museum tours, bicycling around neighborhoods, exploring beautiful artisan shops, and learning more about Mexican history and culture. If you're looking to venture outside the city, you'll find the beautiful Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, a colorful UNESCO World Heritage Site, less than an hour away.

San Diego, California

The sunny West Coast destination is perfect for beach-adoring bachelorette and bachelor parties. San Diego is beloved for stretches of beautiful beaches (La Jolla, arguably, the most well-known of all), as well as beautiful points of interest like Torrey Pines.

Where to stay: A waterfront stay with gorgeous views is highly recommended. Groups can choose between a VRBO property or top hotels like the Hotel del Coronado, a Curio Collection Hotel, The Pendry San Diego, as well as the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. If the group is willing to splurge, the luxury option is the Andaz San Diego.

Where to eat: San Diego is home to familiar, party restaurants like STK and LAVO. For something more local, try Cucina urbana or Adelaide Restaurant.

What to do: Go for a drive along the coast and cross the Coronado Bridge for a scenic look back to the city bay and a gorgeous look forward to Coronado Island (which is technically a peninsula). Beach days are significantly splendid in San Diego, where groups can select from 70 miles of incredible oceanfront stretches of sand. Balboa Park is a must-visit too.

Palm Springs, California

The retro-chic bachelorette groups will turn to this trendy and arid town for a stay. Whether your bachelorette party is more low-key and poolside or you're looking to overlap the dates with Coachella, Palm Springs is rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after destinations on the West Coast.

Where to stay: Consider the Ace Hotel Palm Springs, Palm Springs Hotel or The Saguaro for the "casual palm trees and poolside" Instagram aesthetic. Or, turn to top-suggested properties on TripAdvisor. Larger groups, however, will want to turn to one of the beautiful homes listed on VRBO or Airbnb Luxe for their own private pool and spacious kitchen.

Where to eat: Brunch is popular in Palm Springs starting with Cheeky's and the poolside oasis known as the Purple Palm.

What to do: Enjoy a wine-tasting tour through nearby Temecula. The drive from Palm Springs along 74 alone is a breathtaking experience for groups. Then, take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to the top of San Jacinto Peak.

Scottsdale, Arizona

The Sonoran desert awaits in the resort-friendly town of Scottsdale, yet another trendy bachelorette party destination. Most groups will rent a luxury home or stay at a poolside property during a getaway to arid Arizona. Instagram-friendly aesthetics are virtually guaranteed.

Where to stay: Hippest and chic hotels located minutes away from the best nightlife include The Scott, Hotel Valley Ho and the W Scottsdale. Luxury options include the ADERO Scottsdale or the Andaz. If you want a more relaxing experience and a day filled with spa services, head over to the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, A Gurney's Resort & Spa and the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. Both resorts offer incredible views and make it easy for a hike with the girls in the morning.

Where to eat: La Grande Orange is a convenient option for coffee and a quick and healthy bite. If you want a more leisurely experience with the crew, stop by The Henry. Dinner at Tarbell's is a must (get the spaghetti, but beware of wearing white), or stop by The Mission for modern Latin cuisine. The Sugar Bowl, a parlor open since 1958, is a must-visit for the ice-cream-loving crew.

What to do: Explore the beautiful southwest desert with some outdoor activities like hiking Camelback Mountain and the Desert Botanical Garden. Enjoy gorgeous views from the SkyTop Lounge. Then, dance the night away at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row or The Beverly on Main in Old Town Scottsdale.

Whether it's historic cobblestone streets or pretty painted homes, these bachelorette party destinations have unique characteristics and neighborhoods that will make any girls' trip a quaint and sweet experience.

Atlanta, Georgia

Foodies will flock to Atlanta for its delicious eats, outdoor offerings and rich modern history. With scenic bike trails and sprawling parks, group pedaling is ideal—followed by mouthwatering fried chicken and a cold, refreshing beer. It gets hot in the summer, so we recommend an establishment with a pool.

Where to stay: A top 10 bachelorette city in the US, Atlanta has everything from charming Airbnb stays to new hotels with suites for groups. It gets hot in the summer, so you'll likely want a hotel with a pool. We recommend the Whitley Hotel in the posh Buckhead neighborhood or the Omni Atlanta right by the CNN Center. If you're in search of something a bit more wellness-oriented, the Barnsley Resort is a comfortable, nature-surrounded option 60 miles outside of the city.

Where to eat: Two words: fried eats. Atlanta is renowned for its Southern fare and it's the perfect spot for groups who want to eat their way through the city. We recommend Spring, Busy Bee Cafe or Home Grown for crispy, marinated fried chicken. In the south, it's perfectly acceptable to order it with a side of biscuits for breakfast. For a modern barbecue, turn to Heirloom Market or one of the many options on TripAdvisor to simply indulge.

What to do: Atlanta offers everything from bike trails, wine tours, paint and sip classes, mixology experiences, and, axe throwing.

Austin, Texas

There's more than one reason the capital of the Lone Star State tops our list of bachelorette party destinations. For brides who prefer a day in Brooklyn over Manhattan, this hip Texas town welcomes foodies and floaties.

Where to stay: Austin is the perfect city to find a cozy Airbnb loft to bond with your crew— making it an ideal bachelorette weekend spot. Options range from a loft apartment downtown to a comfy home with a pool. Don't forget your floats. If you're looking for an upscale and affordable hotel (with a pool), the Fairmont Austin or the Westin Austin Downtown are both fabulous options.

Where to eat: Austin is a standout destination for Mexican and barbecue in particular. Simply Google "best tacos in Austin" and the list is impressive, while Salt Lick is a hotspot for barbecue. Beware: the line gets long.

What to do: Tubing on a hot summer day on the Guadalupe River remains one of the most popular drinking and lounging experiences. Rainey Street is best known for its bar culture. Don't miss Container Bar or Graffiti Park at Castle Hill.

Boston, Massachusetts

Much more than what you've heard in high school history classes, Boston is quite the charming destination for getaways. Groups will especially thrive in the fall when sweater weather and collegiate gear abound. It's also the time of year when the colors of the city transform into brilliant jewel tones.

Where to stay: The Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street and The Newbury are both luxury properties in the city center. The former, in particular, is welcoming intimate bachelorette party groups for uber-luxe experiences and stays. For more affordable options, consider the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor for scenic views of the city skyline. Finally, boutique hotel lovers will appreciate Kimpton's Nine Zero Hotel right by Boston Common.

What to eat: Stephanie's on Newbury boasts an impressive Bloody Mary menu and Trade on Atlantic Avenue is your best option for brunch. Union Oyster House is a historic spot renowned for its seafood (among other options)—stop there for freshly shucked oysters. Head to Toro in Boston's South End to nosh on Spanish tapas. Thirsty? Ward 8 shakes up some seriously strong craft cocktails, and Legal Harborside serves sangria by the pitcher on their rooftop.

What to do: Bar hop around Boston's picturesque Beacon Hill neighborhood, where you'll find Acorn Street: a quaint cobblestone path that's easily one of the most photographed streets in the city. From there, check out Boston Public Market for local treats, or board an Old Town Trolley to take in the sights.

Charleston, South Carolina

With its painted homes, Southern hospitality and nearby ocean activities, Charleston is the East Coast destination for groups seeking picturesque party photos with a dose of the sea.

Charleston South Carolina

Where to stay: Southern hospitality is on serious display at Belmond Charleston Place, located in the heart of King Street. Or consider the Beach Club on the harbor or the Restoration Hotel, which boasts three-bedroom suites, plenty of in-hotel restaurants and shops, and a rooftop pool and spa (perfect for unwinding after a night on the town). Just south of Charleston, you'll come across Folly Beach, South Carolina, where bach parties choose to rent oceanfront homes. There's also The Ryder, a super cute property (with a pool) in the heart of Downtown Charleston, so you can walk anywhere.

Where to eat: Halls Chophouse is one of Charleston's most beloved restaurants (if you appreciate Southern fare). Imbibe in a round of Rosé Retreats for pre-dinner cocktails at The Watch, which features dreamy rooftop views. Groups want to scope out Little Palm, an intimate poolside bar founded by the forces behind New York City's Death & Co.

What to do: Rainbow Row, one of Charleston's most popular Instagram photo opportunities, is a must-explore and even better via a bike tour. End it with beach yoga or meditation. If you're a group of history buffs, check out the Fall Tours of Home, History and Architecture, a scenic guided tour through key landmarks. Bulldog Tours' ghost walk is a fun and spooky option to see Charleston by night, while Kiawah Island awaits by day for scenic bike rides and fun group activities like wine-tasting and flower crown-making.

New Orleans, Louisiana

The historic city of New Orleans is the eighth most popular bachelorette destination in the country for good reason. The beignets are delicious, the bourbon is strong and the party vibes are right.

new orleans atmosphere
Maison de la Luz

Where to stay: Properties like the immaculate Maison de la Luz, the iconic Eliza Jane or the Pontchartrain Hotel in the Garden District of NOLA are great for girls' trips.

Where to eat: Was it really a getaway to NOLA without a stop or 10 at Cafe du Monde? Beignets and coffee are a must in the morning, though you'll likely want to return throughout the day for more. (Trust us on this.) Casual dinners abound in the French Quarter or enjoy a luxurious meal at Cochon. Imbibe in delicious cocktails at the Carousel Bar and venture to Blue Oak BBQ and Joint BBQ for mouthwatering Southern fare.

What to do: The French Quarter, Arts and Garden Districts are beautiful areas to walk through. Evenings in NOLA are classified by nights out on Bourbon Street (staples include Pat O'Briens and Cat's Meow). Finally, swing by a few jazz bars on Frenchmen Street and walk around Jackson Square. Expect bustling Creole culture, lively music and fellow bach party attendees at every turn.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

A popular bachelorette party destination in the US, the City of Brotherly Love offers everything from history lessons and a reputable art scene to luxury shopping and award-winning restaurants. The home of the Liberty Bell is also packed with delicious restaurants, walkable landmarks and centralized shopping.

Where to stay: Rittenhouse Square is the most centrally located area of walkable experiences. Splurge at the new Four Seasons Philadelphia or the Ritz-Carlton by City Hall. More affordable stays include the Sofitel, Hotel Monaco or Motto by Hilton.

Where to eat: Philly is a top-rated city for foodies, making the options dense in terms of narrowing down a group dinner. Lucky for you, we consulted the city's best-known restaurant scene reporter @PhillyInsider for his tips. According to our expert, the more upscale bachelorette party will enjoy dinner and cocktails at French bistro Parc on Rittenhouse Square. Groups will also enjoy Rouge next door (we recommend you order its famed burger). Other trendy options include El Vez or Harp & Crown for a guaranteed good time (request the blood orange margaritas) and JG Skyhigh, a Jean-Georges restaurant where impressive views and fare are coupled together. For brunch or dinner, stop by Talula's Garden for a farm-to-table experience. Finally, venture over to South Street or South Philly (there is a difference, you know) for a taste of Philly's most-iconic indulgence: the cheesesteak.

What to do: Fitness-leaning bachelorettes can start their days with a scenic run or walk along Old City's riverfront pathway or the Ben Franklin Parkway along Kelly Drive. The former offers gorgeous views of the Delaware River (you may have heard of it in history classes), while the latter provides views of the historic Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Schuylkill River. The city itself has a thriving nightlife scene, ranging from the low-key quality cocktails offered inside the Library Bar in The Rittenhouse Hotel, where black-tie wedding sightings are guaranteed on weekends to clubs. Local favorite Frankford Hall, an open-air beer garden in the heart of trendy and buzzing neighborhood Fishtown, is a quick Uber ride away.

San Francisco, California

Fans of The Wedding Planner will want to flock to San Francisco in Northern California, home of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, as well as the Full House residence. SF is also a destination that offers everything from tasty dining options to gorgeous waterfront activities. If you venture just half an hour outside of the city, you'll come across the mighty Pacific or you'll enter into the peaceful protected regions where ancient Redwoods thrive.

Cavallo Point

Where to stay: Centrally located and close to the bay, Union Square is the perfect neighborhood for you and your crew. Options include the Galleria Park Hotel. If you're looking for a scenic escape just along the city, Cavallo Point is a wellness-oriented luxury lodge located on the northern end of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

Where to eat: San Francisco's districts each have their own flavor, whether it's Italian, Chinese or Mexican eats you're looking for. Dine on dim sum in Chinatown (Delicious Dim Sum lives up to its name), check out the Mission for amazing Mexican bites (grab a burrito at La Taqueria or nosh on traditional dishes like chicken tinga tostadas and empanadas at the Instagram-worthy Loló) or have a full-on Italian feast at Roma Antica. On Sundays, pack up a blanket and some vino and head to The Presidio park for Picnic at the Presidio. Here, you'll be able to have your choice of San Francisco fare with its many food trucks, ranging from refreshing poke to tasty tacos.

What to do: If you and your besties are history buffs, take a ferry to Alcatraz and tour "the rock" (psst, you'll get some great views of the Bay and city skyline here). But for the ultimate photo op, head to Battery Spencer for an amazing view of Golden Gate Bridge. And if you're Full House fans, head to Alamo Square Park to see the Painted Ladies for yourself. We can't promise the theme song won't get stuck in your head.

Savannah, Georgia

Picturesque Southern Live Oak Trees and Spanish Moss drape the City of Savannah, which includes well-maintained parks and historic charm. The city is the perfect spot for bach parties interested in scenic streets, delicious Southern fare, and late-night antics (including ghost hunting).

Where to stay: Savannah is beloved for its history and architecture with charming bed-and-breakfasts (Kehoe House, Catherine Ward House Inn), pretty boutique hotels (Perry Lane Hotel) and centrally located Airbnbs. A word of warning to the spooky-seeking squads: At the 17hundred90 Inn & Restaurant, the ghost of a young woman named Anna is known for terrifying guests brave enough to book a night in room 204.

What to eat: The Collins Quarter and Clary's Café are both popular brunch spots, while dinner is served at The Olde Pink House, an 18th-century mansion converted into a restaurant or Mrs. Wilke's Dining Room. Bachelorette parties will especially enjoy sunset drinks at the rooftop bar Peregrin, which includes a pool and nearby shopping in Savannah's Historic District. Cool off with sweets at Leopold's Ice Cream, a parlor operating since 1919.

What to do: While you're in one of the most haunted cities in the world, venture through graveyards and other haunted spots by booking a ghost tour. The bar and nightlife scene in Savannah is also well-known. Venture over to multiple piano and karaoke bars for a fun evening with the group.

Luxury Bachelorette Party Destinations

For the extra swanky bachelorette crew, consider hiring a travel agent or booking one-of-a-kind experiences with the guidance of a service like JetBlue Vacations. Luxury bach party destinations can technically be anywhere, but it's the overall experience at these spots that make it exceptional. (The price point, however, balloons with the anticipated service, general ambiance and aspirational lifestyle at these locations. The accompanying stories are priceless.)

The Hamptons, New York

Seen across shows for its boxwood hedges, lavish shingled properties, and its no-frills affluent residents, the Hamptons is a prime destination for the bachelorette party members in search of a charming beach vibe with luxury prices. Like any destination worth reaching, a drive out east will take about three to five hours from New York City (depending on traffic). Or—consider a Blade if you want to arrive in style.

Where to stay: The Surf Lodge is arguably the most iconic property along the bay, while EHP Resort in East Hampton is an elevated and gorgeous option for groups. The Maidstone Hotel is another well-known property out East that caters to a classic clientele. For trendy brides, Gurney's Resorts is one of the best options for prime restaurant, beach and spa access. The Montauk location is a popular day-drinking spot for those who want their coffee, rosé and cabana time. Most private residences have booking rules, such as securing an entire week's stay and exclusions of bach parties, so start planning well in advance to cautiously secure a top-rated home with a pool on VRBO or Airbnb.

Where to eat: Along the East end, lobster rolls are the thing at the red-white-and-blue-hued Lunch, also featured on Showtime's The Affair. Right across the highway is the equally adorable Clam Bar. Seafood lovers will want to check out Duryea's Lobster Deck for truly delicious lobster rolls and buttered corn on the cob. To catch the sunset with a mouthwatering meal, stop by Navy Beach for the buttermilk fried chicken or the gorgeous, new La Fin Kitchen. In pretty East Hampton, the hottest restaurant and sunset views are found at Si Si at EHP. If that's booked out, Fresno and Rita Cantina are also hot reservations in town (as is the ever-so-reliable Serafina).

What to do: Bachelorette parties will want to stop by a few wineries, beginning with the famed Wölffer Estate Vineyard, where you'll share a cheese plate and taste its rose. Channing Daughters Winery and Duck Walk Vineyards are also nearby. Twinkly lights and watermelon cocktails are aplenty at Ruschmeyer's but anticipate long lines after 10 p.m. Quite often, dinner-to-dancing is a typical East End schedule, so consider Swallow East or the Grey Lady, especially on weekends.

The Bahamas, Caribbean

White sand beaches, luxurious accommodations and all-inclusive options abound in this scenic getaway, located just a few hours by plane from top cities across the US. The Bahamas has something for low-key luxury-seeking groups to party-hoppers who will fare well in Baha Mar.

bahamas bachelorette
SLS Baha Mar

Where to stay: Two resorts stand out for bachelorette party antics at least in the Bahamas. Book stays at the hip SLS Baha Mar or convenient Atlantis for all the fun (and vacation drinks) with your crew. Concierge IV services are also on-site at the SLS in case the party went a little too late the previous evening. (We get it, though: the party doesn't stop during the weekends and why should it? It's your bachelorette.)

Where to eat: Dining options are aplenty in the Bahamas, especially if you choose to stay at one of the three properties in the megaresort of Baha Mar. A Café Boulud opened in 2021, and there's also a Katsuya and Cleo for group dinners. In Nassau, and along the many islands, there are numerous scenic shacks and spots for vacation cocktails and fresh food.

What to do: Wake up and "flamingle" with a flamingo flock during a morning yoga class at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. Snorkeling and water sports are recommended, especially since your bachelorette party chose the Bahamas as their destination. Book a Sunset Cocktail Cruise at Blackbeard's Revenge, the only Pirate ship in The Bahamas. Or—consider a three-course dinner and book the Bootleggers & Barrels Party Cruise.

Napa Valley, California

World-class dining options, top wineries and gorgeous landscapes make Napa what it is: luxurious and lovely. Expect this type of bachelorette getaway to be accompanied by top service—and correlating budgets.

Where to stay: Stay in the quaint spa town of Calistoga in the northern part of the valley, where comfy accommodation options include The Francis House, The Archer, The Ink House and the Calistoga Motor Lodge.

Another lauded option is North Block (which doubles as a property) in Yountville. If you're looking for something more laid-back, try Compline in Downtown Napa, which has more than 65 restaurants and nearly 30 tasting cellars.

What to do: Wine tasting, of course! Hire a driver from California Wine Tours to transport you and your friends around in a chic black SUV. For bubbles and beautiful views, reserve a cabana and lounge with your besties at Domaine Chandon. For another memorable and scenic experience, start the evening with a sunset hot air balloon tour above the valley or hike Napa's mountain ranges like the Mayacamas and the Vaca. The CIA at Copia, made famous by Julia Child and the Mondavis, also offers daily cooking classes, tastings and a culinary arts museum. Napa has a slight nightlife scene, including Blue Note, a jazz club, and JaM Cellars.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

A resort peninsula with plenty of party and pool options, Cabo is a quick jaunt from nearby L.A. or Texas for brides and bridesmaids seeking luxurious accommodations and picturesque oceanfront rooms at every turn. A word of advice: avoid the Spring Break calendar and exercise safety when traveling.

Where to eat: Blue Marlin Ibiza and Nobu are popular choices for large groups of bach parties, as is The Office with its picturesque setup.

What to eat: Between seafood and tasty meat dishes, Ibiza is teeming with plenty of dining and bar options, perfect for groups. We recommend Bar Costa or El Chiringuito for a fancier and scenic meal.

What to do: Ibiza is so much more than partying: the Balearic Island is also home to incredible beaches and places to relax. Groups will want to enjoy Cala Bassa for its famous sandy shores and daytime beach parties. The nightlife is incredible in Ibiza (if you haven't heard already), including party-hopping from Es Vedrà to the Ibiza Museum of Contemporary Art.

Aspen, Colorado

Where to stay: The W Aspen is ideal for bachelorette getaways especially since certain rooms are arranged with queen-size bunk beds that fit up to parties of eight. (The hotel even has an underground speakeasy and packages that cater to groups.) Perhaps one of the most lavish locations on our bachelorette party list, five-star rental properties abound locally too. Pick your pleasure.

Where to eat: One of the most iconic venues in Aspen is The Little Nell, and it's famed for lunch and cocktails as much as it's known for its ceremony setup. Head to Acquolina and Campo de Fiori for pasta or Clark's Oyster Bar and Matsuhisa for group dinners.

What to do: Aside from typical snow sports, Aspen is the destination for après-ski. Hot spots include the St. Regis and the Snow Lodge, a pop-up by the founder of Montauk's Surf Lodge located at the base of Aspen Mountain. Chair 9 and Bootsy Bellows are also fun for antics before heading to bed before 10 pm.

You know these bachelorette groups: they're naturally inclined to dive off cliffs and seek unique and untold experiences. In fact, they'd much rather take the road less traveled, which is why their bachelorette parties will be marked by one overarching characteristic: adventure.

Bachelorette groups will enjoy all that the city has to offer: a fun nightlife scene, great restaurants, a thriving fitness network, and proximity to breathtaking US National Parks and nature. While Snooze is one of the more reputable names locally, our Denver-based editor argues there are many establishments in the area to explore. The Original in McGregor Square, for example, provides a quaint ambiance with quality eats and bottomless mimosas, all for just $24. For mouthwatering steaks and an upscale environment for dinner, she also recommends you "ball out" at EDGE Restaurant & Bar or Urban Farmer Steakhouse.

What to do: During the daytime, throw on those sneakers and head to a local fitness boutique in athleisure sets. We recommend signing up for Barry's Bootcamp, Studio CLMBR or Boost Pilates for a group fitness atmosphere or heading outdoors for an incline workout at Red Rocks. It isn't a bach party in Denver without a night at the Grizzly Rose, a country bar and nightclub that offers line dancing. (Not to worry, says our editor: lessons are offered.) The establishment also hosts live performances from country artists, some well-known and others up-and-coming.

Park City, Utah
