Tom And Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale is an animated film that was directed by Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone. The movie casts the highly popular Tom (the cat) and Jerry (the mouse) as the two leading characters. Tchaikovsky's popular ballet number ‘The Nutcracker' is used to some good extent as the background music in the film. The Spike Brandt film revolves around Jerry and his magical kingdom of toys, which magically come to life. One winter day, Jerry enjoys a feast with his toy-friends, which seems to be going rather well. Tom, the Captain of the Cat Guard, comes to know about this feast and deliberately attacks Jerry and his mates with his forces to trap the toys. Tom captures the Ballerina and takes her to the Cat King. In the meantime, Tom compels his army to stop Jerry. However, Jerry has other plans. He takes the company of Paulie and Nelly to follow the guiding star and find the Toy Maker.
Chaos ensues as Tom tries all possible ways to stop Jerry and his team from finding the Toy Maker. The cat and mouse fight that follows is sure to keep both adults and kids glued to their seats. Will Jerry succeed in finding the Toy Maker and convincing him to help the toys, or will Tom stop Jerry in the nick of time?
