Former Location –
Studio A here was famous for being the first ever studio designed for mixing quadraphonic sound in 1970. On August 1, 1971, they made their first remote recordings for The Concert for Bangladesh, which was held at Madison Square Garden.

In 1987, the New York studio was sold to Sir George Martin and closed soon afterward. John Lennon had been recording “Walking On Thin Ice” there December 8, 1980, the day he was killed.

After the studio was closed in 1987, the building was transformed in to a high-tech office building.
