Stayed at the Holmeleigh Hotel, Withnell Road, Blackpool the first weekend in June. We were met by Wendy, the landlady who was jolly, pleasant and helpful and before checking in she allocated us a space in the car park at the rear of the hotel.
Once checked in we went to our room which was a double on the first floor with an en-suite shower. The room was clean, tidy with plenty of storage space. We were facing the road but couldn’t hear the traffic.
At breakfast, there was a choice cereals fruit, and a menu for a choice of whether you’d like a full English, a sandwich, toast etc.
The hotel is not too far away from Blackpool Pleasure Beach and not too far from the main road where you can get the bus or a tram so is an ideal base.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked to return next year.More
