A charming Hotel in a great location! Wonderful hosts who provided us with a championship breakfast each morning. Nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly clean throughout and a lovely ambience in the bar! Two days was just not enough. We shall definitely return, and soon! Thanks David & Shirley!
Stooped for a Saturday night stag night.Whilst my freinds all stopped elsewhere i was lucky enough to find this little gem.Secure car parking you have to leave your keys in case your car has to me moved.Only briefly met Dave but Shirley was really helpful and friendly.Rooms were fine really clean and the breakfast was amazing. Enjoyed my stay so much will one day return with my wife and two kids in a family room hopefully.Real value for money place which will make your visit to Blackpool worthwhile. Well done holmeleigh hotel.
Travelled to The Homeleigh Hotel for a weekend away with some friends. The value of service that is received outweighs the cost. Upon check in, Shirley opened the gates to the secure car park at the back, which allowed perfect parking, as is always a struggle in Blackpool. Full English breakfast cooked perfectly to fill you up for the day ahead, along with the option of cereal, and other breakfast options. Any questions you asked either Shirley or Dave, you got the answer with ease. Very friendly and welcoming. The rooms maybe small, however close attention is paid to the detail, and the rooms are very clean. The bar area is welcoming and warm, whether sitting watching the tv, are having a chat. The hotel is in prime location for the pleasure beach, the water park, and…
we are old hands at staying at the holmleigh hotel dave, Shirley, jenni, Jonathon and james are a lovely family you are always assured of a warm welcome from them all very clean and comfortable good food and a great bar and lovely lounge to sit in it is as it says homely its a wee home from home x
Stayed at this lovely Hotel for the 5th year in a row and can honestly say we would not stay anywhere else. A lovely family run home from home. Clean, tidy, great hospitality; a place where they always go above and beyond to make your stay special. Looking forward to next year!!
What can I say? Back again for our annual weekend in Blackpool and as always Shirley and David made our weekend extra special. Location, price, rooms, breakfast...all amazing. What makes this perfect hotel even better than anywhere else we stay is the welcome we receive every year. A true home from home, saying bye to Shirley and David is so sad year on year. That says it all. A lovely family with hearts of gold. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Don't delay, book to stay here!
We stopped at Holmeleigh for 1 night on our to Scotland, we got there about 11am and parked at the rear of the building, we were welcomed and shown to our room, we then spent the day at the Pleasure beach which is about a 5 minute walk away. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable which is what we needed, got up to a lovely breakfast, which set us up for our continued journey. would recommend tis hotel and will also be going back net time we go to Blackpool.
Stayed for two nights with my family so had four rooms in total. The location is prefect, literally a stones throw away from the pleasure beach, sandcastle and casino. The guest house has parking around the back which is great. Rooms had everything we needed plus iron and hair dryer (ask for these when needed). Breakfast was great an is definitely excellent value for money. Would return.
My girlfriend and I found this brilliant hotel for our first long weekend away together and found that the hotel was in brilliant condition, Shirley and David were really welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was great and even for my fussy girlfriend. Ideal for us, location was perfect as it was right round the corner from pleasure beach and water park. The rooms where spotless and very cosy, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for someone to stay in Blackpool. Shirley and David also own a chippy on the same street called Bentleys, I would recommend the fish supper, fish was amazing and chips aswell.
Came here for a weekend with my two young children and it was absolutely fantastic. Our room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. The owners treated us as if we were the only guests, chatting to my 3 yr old son and finding him some toys. Breakfast was great, beds were very comfy, reasonable bar tariff. What more could you ask? We WILL be returning!
