Thread: where to find birth and death certificates

I am looking for birth certificates for Reginald Adolph Foster, born May 29th 1899, and death certificates for his parents, Susan Sealy Foster and George William Foster and birth certificates for any children they may had. I may also want any marriage certificates between the two or indiividual, if got married later again. thank u

It looks like malcolm99 has found reference to Reginald's birth registration in your other thread.

Certificates can be ordered from the GRO and cost �9 each.

See my answer to your other thread - try FreeBMD first as you have more 'base' information than we have, but....

...if you cannot find them it would be helpful if you then posted what you know about each of them so we can narrow / focus the research.

PS: I already suggested a reference for Winifred in post# to your FOSTER - Barnardos thread. If you want to order it you should (someone can help me on this if I am not right) specify the parents are XX and YY (as appropriate) to ensure you don't get a wrong cert. but as there is some doubt about the parentage you may be best off just to specify who the mother is

BTW that thread also suggests a death ref. for George and a poss. re-marriage / death for Susan
