This shows a vortex in the Great Salt Lake somewhere.
They map the lines all over the place. Makes me think that they might move.
My favorite place is the Zone of Silence in Mexico and the stories around this area.

Oh ya. they are called Ley Lines. Some think they were popularized again (lost art) to sell the feng shui decor with the newage NYC hipsters.

Abstract? maybe ......

Interesting? definitely

Do I give credence? .......

How are ley lines established? Where does it begin? What is the science behind it?

Its supposed to be sacred geometry. The earths magnetic fields.there is a science to it. The dragon triangle and Bermuda triangle. historys decoted did a show on one in Alaska. They had a magnet that was a man made vortex and some weird stuff happens. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Do several google searches...

Geomatria (sacred geometry)

Ley lines

Vortex Maps

I have a book on this topic, but I need to dig it out of my library. I shall try to do that today.

BTW, Digger... I found a book that we talked about several months ago.

Atlantis Mother of Empires by Robert B. Stacy-Judd

It seemed that you were wanting to look for that book. If you prefer, I can loan mine to you.

But what I am looking for as I do in all mysterious things, is a foundation, and then credibility....Wiki tells some but.... I guess I acknowledge ley lines but I just don't see what the all hubbub is.....I would agree in the existence of the lines and convergence, but so what? I guess I am just looking to understand it....I'm not ready to cast it off just yet.....

It seems that there was a topic on the web a while back which referred to the Grand canyon site of the cave on the side of the canyon where the so-called Egyptian type city was located that someone supposedly had traced with Geomatria. Honestly, I didn't quite understand all of the stuff that he reported in his article, but he claimed that it had to be figured out using Geomatria which is a "sacred" mathematical system. According to him, it lines up with the Great Pyramids and Stonehenge. It is an interesting read, but it would be even more interesting if one could follow the math and prove out his hypothesis. I didn't attempt it as I wasn't prepared to take the time to devote to his article when I had other treasure stories to read at the time. I just never got back to it. It seemed like it was on the old ALT forum, but as luck would have it, it has been wiped out. Part of the stuff was migrated to the new forum, but what wasn't has been lost unless it can be found in Google Archives or elsewhere.
