See the First Photo of Julianne Hough’s Magical Outdoor Wedding

Julianne Hough and NHL player Brooks Laich tied the knot on July 8, and Hough just shared the first public photo of the beautiful day.

“The weekend finally arrived—and it was MAGICAL!!!” she captioned the romantic picture on Instagram. “The weekend my best friend, my love of my life, and my new husband @brookslaich and I brought our family and closest friends together to have fun, encourage love, and celebrate our marriage!”

Hough and Laich married in an elegant outdoor ceremony on Lake Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

“When I introduced Brooks to the lake, he fell in love with this special spot, and we knew this was where we wanted to raise our family and grow old together,” Hough told People. “It just felt right to be married there.”

She also opened up about the moment she and Laich exchanged vows.

“Brooks and I kept eye contact the entire ceremony,” she told People. “We never stopped looking at each other.”

It’s clear the couple couldn’t be more in love, and Hough gushed about her new husband on Instagram.

“I'm so grateful I get to spend forever with this incredibly kind, thoughtful, strong and adventurous man,” she wrote. “I'm the luckiest woman in the world to be your wife!”

Hough wasn’t the only DWTS star saying ‘I do’ last weekend. Pro dancers Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy also tied the knot on July 8, which reportedly led to some RSVP dilemmas among the DWTS cast and crew.
