Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- deathracerMontreal, Canada2,231 contributionsWe visited Roermond outlets on a rainy Sunday mainly because the shops are closed in Germany on Sunday and out of curiosity to compare this outlet mall to others around the world.
The parking is paid and plentiful, however the price is very modest.
Washrooms were very clean and adequate in quantity considering the crowd size.
The food options seem a bit scattered in location and price. We found the best value and freshest food at a second-floor buffet style in the style of a Movenpick called "La Place". We ate on the second-floor balcony while a huge thunderstorm came in. It was comical to see the lineup of people braving the pouring rain, seemingly desperate to enter the Birkenstock store across the lane.
Like most other outlet malls, the prices are moderately cheaper based on last year's merchandise. What the mall does provide is a good selection in one location. We avoided any stores with line-ups and still managed to snag a few good purchases.Written 21 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The lake is quite big as it is located in both Belgian and Dutch Limburg. We parked our car at the parking place "Isabellegriend", Maasstraat 31 ( free parking ). It is near the water. It would be very busy in the summer as there's a beach and with the strong wind it's good for windsurfingWritten 17 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Johnny19039Dusseldorf, Germany2,319 contributionsI really enjoyed visiting the Cuypershuis in Roermond. It's a beautiful place that showcases the life and work of Pierre Cuypers, one of the most influential architects and designers in Dutch history. He designed iconic buildings such as the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam Central Station, as well as many churches. The museum is housed in his former home and workshop, which is itself a masterpiece of art and craftsmanship. The staff were friendly and helpful and the entrance fee was reasonable. I would recommend this museum to anyone who loves architecture, design or history.Written 19 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - aNGeL0FdEAthDubai, United Arab Emirates605 contributionsBeautiful building. Majestic architecture.
During my visit, I heard the stone used to build the church is only found in Roermond. That was a little bonus I believe.
Anyhow, it's a place worth seeing. The attention to detail is amazing.Written 2 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Loved the architecture. Specially the municipal house and it's clock tower. Simply lovely. The clock chimes and everyone around it starts moving. They got everyone up there. Satan, Pope, Jesus, Joker and another bunch of fellows I can't remember.
Time well spent.Written 2 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
