What’s the difference between ESPN and ESPN+?
ESPN
ESPN is one of the top TV sports networks, featuring up-to-the-minute sports news coverage, scores, highlights, and commentary for NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, UFC, boxing, soccer, fantasy, and more.
Fans can download the ESPN app for free and access the latest news, info, highlights, and audio from all your favorite sports teams. You can also stream ESPN network content by logging into a supported TV provider. The ESPN app also gives you the option to subscribe directly to ESPN+.
For assistance with ESPN issues, please contact ESPN Fan Support by clicking on the ESPN Fanbot in the bottom right corner of this screen.
ESPN+
ESPN+ is a paid subscription service available through ESPNplus.com and the ESPN app. With ESPN+, you can access thousands of live events like UFC PPV events*, on-demand content, and exclusive shows that aren’t available through ESPN’s traditional TV networks.
You can sign up for ESPN+ through the ESPN+ tab in the ESPN app or directly on ESPNplus.com.
*UFC PPVs are available for additional purchase but require an ESPN+ subscription.
What’s included in my ESPN+ subscription?
Your ESPN+ subscription allows you to stream live sports from the best leagues in the world and original series from the biggest names in sports. Enjoy thousands of live events from UFC, NFL, NHL, FA Cup, MLB, Grand Slam tennis, PGA TOUR LIVE, LaLiga, Top Rank Boxing, and more — plus a variety of college sports, including football, basketball, baseball, and lacrosse, from 20+ conferences.
You also receive access to playback features like Continue Watching and Start from Beginning on select devices. You can currently enjoy simultaneous streaming on up to five different devices for most ESPN+ content and two different devices for a UFC PPV event.
Note: Content that is exclusively for ESPN+ subscribers is marked with an ESPN+ badge within the ESPN app. Additionally, you may see some ESPN network content within the ESPN app that is only available to customers of a participating TV provider, which is not included in your ESPN+ subscription.
Am I eligible to subscribe to ESPN+?
ESPN+ is only available in the United States and its territories. If you’re unable to access certain content, it’s possible that it may not be available in your location based on our blackout policy. Please see the ESPN+ Subscriber Agreement for more details.
Please note that you also must be 16 years of age or older to subscribe to the ESPN+ service.
How do I watch ESPN+?
Ready to stream your favorite sports and shows? Before you do so, you’ll need to make sure you have a supported device and a valid method of payment.
You can start streaming on ESPN+ once you sign up through the ESPN app or the ESPN+ website. If you've already signed up for ESPN+ and are looking to stream content through multiple devices, you must first log in to your ESPN+ account through the ESPN app on each device.
