Just to add that there is no train station at Seville airport.
Just to let you know in case the timetable suts better for you I recently got a bus (http://alsa.es) from Granada to Sevilla and then got shuttle bus to airport and all went fairly smothly without delay. Just an option if the train timetable is not good for you.
What train station do I need to go to from Seville airport to get a connecting train to Granada (I've seen 3 train stations on the train information website) - and how long does the journey take (from airport to train station and train to Granda)? Alternatively, is there a bus that goes to Granada directly from Seville airport? And how long is the bus journey?
At Seville airport you can take the airport bus as you say all the way to Plaza de Armas adjacent to the bus station of same name. Or if you decide to take a train to Granada you could take the bus as far as Santa Justa station which is closer to the airport. Thanks. My plane should land at 1700 if there is no delay. The last train for Granada on 6 August leaves at 1800 from Santa Justa station. It's too risky to buy train tickets in advance. I think I'd better take the coach from Pl. de Armas at 2000. I read many posts about the matter and in past years there was confusion about 2 Bus stations, Pl. de Armas and Prado de San Sebastian. Yes you will be better on the 8pm Supra Economy bus which is comfortable and not have worries about missing a train.
