    ALEXANDRIA, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Transportation has reported that U.S. Route 61 at Alexandria, Missouri, is now open.

    MoDOT officials reported that crews have cleaned and made the necessary repairs to the road and shoulder.



    The highway had been closed from flooding since May 20.
