Hi, I am having following error while trying to backup tables through daloradius interface. ========== Failed creating backup due to directory/file permissions, check that the webserver user has access to create the following file: /var/www/daloradius/var/backup/backup-20090711-191835.sql =========== I have already changed the ownership of daloradius folder to apache:apache i have chmod 777 /var/www/daloradius/var/backup/ still having problem. What is the reason? Other errors are log file location: ========================= Trying to view the radius log gives me: ++++ error reading log file: looked for log file in /var/log/freeradius/radius.log and /usr/local/var/log/radius/radius.log but couldn't find it. if you know where your freeradius log file is located, set it's location in /zradius/rep-logs-radius.php ++++ Trying to view the daloradius log gives me: ++++ error reading log file: /tmp/daloradius.log looked for log file in /tmp/daloradius.log but couldn't find it. if you know where your daloradius log file is located, set it's location in your library/daloradius.conf file ++++ what is the location of these files? These are all CentOS permission issues and they belong to a CentOS mailing list related forum. Maybe someone here who has fixed these issues on a CentOS install could reply. Regards, Liran. I guess giving write permission to the /var/www direcotory to everybody is risky. Another question is: I found out that the freeradius log locations is /var/log/radius/radius.log instead to /var/log/freeradius/radius.log According to the message, I can change the location in "rep-logs-radius.php" file but I cannot find any thing there to set this location.
