DailyMailTV EXCLUSIVE: Marie Osmond is focusing on the positive during lockdown with her 'quaranteam' while filming The Talk@Home

Marie Osmond is hunkering down with her quaranteam, AKA the person or people you're quarantining with, at her Utah home while continuing to host The Talk virtually during the coronavirus pandemic.

The 60-year-old Hollywood legend exclusively joined DailyMailTV for a chat about how she is managing and how The Talk@Home is serving up motivational content during these troubling times.

At her Utah residence, Marie is spending some much needed alone time with her husband Steven Craig whom she remarried in 2011 after spending decades apart.

Osmond gushed: 'I do have to say it's been lovely spending time with my husband, we remarried and we were apart for 25 years so this is the first time we've been alone since I can't remember!'

The star is missing the rest of her family though, which she said is one of the most challenging parts of isolation. She credits virtual tools like FaceTime for helping her stay connected to her children and grandchildren.

'I think with every kind of change and trial that we go through, I think it challenges the human spirit,' Marie said. 'I think that's the biggest challenge for me, is not seeing my my kids and grandchildren, my family, my brothers.'

To keep busy, Marie has been using her downtime to catch up on TV, read, do puzzles and craft, as well as nap - which she laughed was a totally novel experience for her.

'It's just really relaxing,' the TV host explained. 'Taking naps, what a concept, right?'

When she isn't relaxing, Marie is back at work with her hit day time talk show, rising at 5 o'clock in the morning to get going.

'CBS has been so incredible putting the shows up,' Marie said. The Talk was re-tooled into an at home version of the show with all the co-hosts getting mini-studio setups in their home shortly after the stay-at-home order was issued.

The feedback from Marie's fans on social media has been great and people have said they're enjoying being able to stay in touch with the stars from their individual residences.

'We've picked up a lot of new watchers because they don't have anything to do during the day. So it's been nice to connect,' Marie explained.

One particular guest that fans responded well too was comedian and Price Is Right host Drew Carey who spoke candidly about dealing with his ex fiance's alleged murder a few months ago.

'Looking at the comments, [Drew] helped so many people deal with the topic of forgiveness. And that's huge,' Marie recalled. 'And like he said, if you carry that anger within you, it makes you sick and it just makes you an angry person.'

She thinks the secret to the show, which she joined in September, is all thanks to the hosts being very different but very respectful of each other.

Along with Marie, the show is helmed by Sharon Osbourne, Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba and Sheryl Underwood.

'We come together and laugh and get along. Doesn't matter if you don't believe what I believe or vise versa. We respect each other's opinions. And I think that that's a good lesson for life,' the Donnie & Marie star said.
