With over 80 years of Robin the Boy Wonder, one would think that there would be more stories and comic books where Robin had superpowers of some kind. While writing Batman as a superhero with no superhuman abilities is a DC mainstay, it's logical that the Robins - Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, Damian Wayne, etc. - would also be written as normal human beings, armed with brains, fighting skills, and gadgets.

And while there are some examples of Robins with superpowers, it's necessary to stretch beyond the boundaries of the main DC continuity to find Robins with special powers.

10 Jarro: Justice League Volume 4 #29

Jarro as Robin reaches out to his dad Batman

A starfish-like alien that was raised in a jar by Batman, Jarro is a tissue sample from Starro and a recent addition to the Bat-family, who one day wants to be Batman's best Robin. In Justice League vol. 4 #29 by writers James Tynion IV and Scott Snyder, and artist Bruno Redondo, Jarro is shown using his psychic abilities to create a scenario where he has his own Robin suit and Batarangs, and he's fighting the Legion of Doom alongside Batman, whom he calls dad. As an alien with extraordinary powers and the desire to please Batman, Jarro is already a great Robin.

9 Thomas Wayne: Robin 3000

After Batman is killed, Robin's hand is heavily damaged and replaced by a cybernetic prosthetic that is "equipped with communications, sensing, and defensive capabilities." While Robin 3000 was just as capable as any previous Robins, the abilities he gained from his new hand allowed him to fight another day.

8 Bruce Wayne: Dark Nights: Death Metal Robin King #1

Robin King Dark Nights Death Metal

Out of all the Batmen of the Dark Multiverse, even the ones who are amalgams of other Justice League members, the one with the most devastating power is probably Robin King. Robin King, a homicidal child version of Bruce Wayne, wields The Anti-Life Equation which is a superpower unto itself. A virus that is used to create zombies, Robin King used it in his one-shot against Animal Man by having the hero's dead family attack him in a gruesome scene and then spread the virus.

7 Jason Todd: Batman Annual #25

Red Hood feature 1

After Superboy-Prime's punch was heard 'round the multiverse, Jason Todd was brought back to life, though he was a shell of the boy he once was. Taken in by Talia al Ghul, Jason was eventually tossed into the Lazarus Pit and he was transformed with a perfect resurrection that made him stronger, faster, and maybe even immortal. There's a lot of mystery surrounding Jason's dip into the Lazarus Pit since he did not show any signs of post-Pit insanity and has been shown to be enhanced.

6 Dick Grayson: The Dark Knight Strikes Again

Dick Grayson tries to kill Carrie Kelley

Frank Miller must really hate Dick Grayson because his version of the first Robin in his Dark Knight sequel is a real villain. After getting fired from being Robin years before, Dick underwent genetic-altering experiments that gave him a Deadpool-level healing factor and the ability to shapeshift.

With these terrifying powers, Dick sought his revenge on his old mentor and, dressed in his old Robin costume, attempted to kill Carrie Kelley, Batman's new sidekick. Saturn Girl had told Carrie that Dick hated her the most.

5 Duke Thomas: Batman And The Signal

Duke Thomas as Signal, formerly Robin

What's interesting about Duke Thomas is that he was a Robin under the tutelage of Alfred Pennyworth as the leader of We Are Robin. We Are Robin was a group of teens who were encouraged to fight crime and corruption in Gotham as their own versions of the Robin mantle. Duke inherited his father's metahuman abilities like photokinetic vision, but he doesn't quite understand his powers even after he became an official member of the Bat-family and received his own hero identity as The Signal.

4 Dick Grayson: Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Three

Dick Grayson is the new Deadman

After a freak accident that shouldn't have killed him but did in fact kill him in Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One, Dick Grayson eventually returned to action, but this time he had superpowers. Before his death, Boston Brand passed on the mantle of Deadman to Dick and the former Robin returned in Year Three. With the powers of Deadman, Dick basically had the powers of a ghost which meant that he possessed the ability to fly, become intangible, become invisible, and possess the living.

3 Dick Grayson: Teen Titans Go! Volume 2 #24

Robin has Starfire's powers

1 Damian Wayne: Robin Rises: Alpha

Damian Wayne has superpowers

With the help of a Chaos Crystal shard, Batman resurrects his son Damian, who had died in Batman Incorporated vol 2 #8 by writer Grant Morrison and artists Chris Burnham and Jason Masters. Shortly after coming back to life, Damian and the rest of the Bat-family are attacked by Kalibak and throughout the fight, it becomes apparent that Damian has acquired superpowers. He had super speed, super strength, the ability to fly, was bullet-proof, and had laser vision. Unfortunately for Damian, these superpowers eventually faded.
