Looking for some Superheroes Activities to include for Superhero Day? It’s hard to find appropriate activities for our students and kids, and I know that kids LOVE superheroes, why not give them a printable craft to work on name crafts along with the theme?
This printable name craft is especially super EASY because I wanted something quick and easy to print and have the kids color in their shields and trace their names.
What is Superheroes Day?
Superheroes Day is an annual event celebrated on October 30th, which was created to honor the fictional superheroes from comic books, TV shows, and movies.
It is a day for children to dress up as their favorite superhero and partake in a variety of activities.
This event was started by two parents who wanted to give their children the opportunity to celebrate their favorite superheroes in a fun way.
What does a superhero mean to a child?
The term “superhero” can refer to any fictional character that has extraordinary or superhuman abilities and uses these powers either to fight evil or to accomplish heroic feats.
The term is also used in other ways, such as when referring to those who possess extraordinary abilities of an ordinary person, like the protagonist of the novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Superheroes are a popular theme in American culture, and they have become a big part of children’s entertainment.
They are often seen as symbols of power, justice and hope. With superhero day coming up on May 4th, we’re going to explore some of the most iconic superheroes from comic books and movies.
Kids love superheroes. They are their heroes. So what better way to celebrate than with a superhero day?

Children’s clothing stores have begun stocking superhero costumes, and they’re not just for Halloween anymore!
