John D Where are the Asians? smh Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Olive M A second series can sometimes fail to match the first, but Sex Education came back with a bang (pun intended). To me, this is the season where Maeve (Emma Mackey) and Aimee really come to the fore. The worldly Maeve is perfectly set off by the ditzy Aimee, who is from a different social background. Eric and Otis continue to shine. I've watched this season at least twice. Loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review matthias s "Sex Education Season 2 elevates the already exceptional standard set by its debut season. This series continues to strike a perfect balance between addressing important societal issues and offering genuine, relatable, and humorous storylines. The character development remains a highlight, navigating the complexities of adolescence, relationships, and sexuality with a rare authenticity. The writing continues to impress, seamlessly blending humor with poignant moments that resonate deeply. The show's ability to tackle sensitive topics with grace and candor is commendable, fostering empathy and understanding among its audience. Additionally, the performances by the ensemble cast are outstanding, breathing life into multifaceted characters. Visually vibrant and thoughtfully crafted, Sex Education Season 2 maintains its captivating charm while delving deeper into the lives of its characters. It not only entertains but also educates, making it a compelling and essential watch for anyone seeking a nuanced exploration of teenage life." Drew Gregory Autostraddle Like in its first season, Sex Education insists on the great value of our unique relationships to our bodies, to sex, and to each other. Sep 10, 2021 Full Review Cameron Glover Bitch Media The centralizing of pleasure is what makes Sex Education shine and truly stand apart from other shows that address sex education in some form. Mar 15, 2021 Full Review Sonia Rao Washington Post It considers their inner lives and motivations, less concerned with what they're doing than how they feel about doing it. That empathetic approach is especially evident with the heavier story lines. Dec 22, 2020 Full Review Serena Seghedoni Loud and Clear Reviews Sex Education Season 2 is vulnerable, honest and full of heart. The second season of Netflix’s beloved show is even better than the first.
