Unless i`m mistaken, you can go to setup wifi - and setup up manually. 1. go to setup wi-fi connection 2. manually add network, and enter the cap-sensitive name of the network you want to access 3. security type: "no security" if it`s free, PSK (pre shared key) if there is a password.. hope that helps.

You have to first connect it to a computer. Then open up the blackberry app world on the computer and when it connects then it the bottom of the page it will say to use the blackberry as a router. Click that and follow the instructions. Then you can use it as a router. The internet is very slow and sometimes does not connect i wouldn`t recommend using it.

THe blackberry is identifying the network but cannot access it. You need to check the security on the router. Do you need passwords? Do you use MAC addresses as supplementary security? The router will normally allow the BB to log on if no extra security has ben set so check the routers security first.

GO to your setup then set up wi-fi. search your wifi and then press your blackberry button and press connect. then you just have to put your wepkey and save it. that`s all.

Try reset to factory settings. take out battery and restart.
