Hi all!
I'm John Burns, and full disclosure, I work for Weber Stephen Products.
I started with Weber in 2010 in our Americas Consumer Care department answering phones and emails for our US and Canadian customers. Over time, my role evolved and I became a resource person who would assist other representatives when they needed help with hard to answer questions, troubleshooting, order information, as well as a being a system administrator, and a liaison between Consumer Care and the rest of the company. Around that same time I started assisting our consumers in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. My role changed yet again in 2015 and I joined our Online Consumer Care team answering consumers through our social media channels, responding to reviews/questions on Weber.com and 3rd party websites, and authored many of our FAQ's and articles on Weber.com.
In 2020 left our Consumer Care team and joined the Global Product Management team and became responsible for managing many of our charcoal products. A few of the projects I've lead are:
I absolutely love my job, and love Weber, and I really enjoy helping others to learn about our products. That said, I'm not an expert on our pellet grills because I left Consumer Care right before we launched SmokeFire, but I am happy to help when I can and look forward to interacting with other Weber fans.
