Recently just stayed here for a stag doo
Service was absolutely dreadfull .. Staff were completely rude and stand offish.
The Safe in bedroom broke down 3-4 times and the shower scalded you everytime u ran it. It WAS just a place to
Lay your head as they say but it was filthy and uncomfortable

Staff need to get a job they like !!

Whoever rated it a 3 star is completely deluded

This 5/6 story hotel is conveniently located with 10 minutes walk to the nearest tram and subway station(Metro) and 15 min. walk to the high street(town centre). This hotel has a convenient modern lift and has been refurbished to a good standard. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable with clean sheets. The bathroom is modern and fully tiled with good water flow with adjustable shower temperature. The windows are made of double layers of glass but not double glazed. The TV is small and old, but will do for a short stay. The is a small steel safe that you can rent out for valuables. The wi-fi is only available in the lobby with free access.
The breakfast is of very good quality and choice. There is a small supermarket with hot meals and fresh vegetables less than 10 min. walk.
The staff speak fluent English and are very helpful. You will need your hair dryer if you need one.

Room tip: Avoid the 6th floor (see other reviews) and ask for non-smoking area if you prefer one.

The hotel was located in the city center with no place to park your car except expensive garrage 12 euro/day. Room was not tided every day. The towel were torn. Wifi only in the lobby bar. Breakfast limited to cheese, ham, eggs and jam. Definitely hotel is school groups oriented but with good location and rather cheep.

What can I say, we stayed at City club Hotel for 3 nights and got a small attic room with no ventilation (just a window), a broken shower (the grip), very poor water pressure. The room was also badly cleaned and I wiped of a list on the bed and the paper I used got very dirty.

The breakfast was OK and the service depended on whom was working.

If City Club just took better care of the rooms and the cleaning it would be a great budget hotel on a very good location.

The room was pretty comfortable even though it has seen better days. There is no A/C or fan provided so it could get warm in the room and there was some road noise even with the windows closed. The shower stall and tv were small. Soap and towels are provided. Wi-fi is only available in the lobby and could be spotty. The breakfast was ample and even included eggs and sausage. The hotel is a few blocks from the I. P. Pavlova metro station and about a 15-minute walk from Wencelas Square. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
