We stayed 3 nights at the Boca Raton and I was absolutely blown away! I realize I’m about to sound like a kid at Disney but whatever… When you pull up the main building is absolutely beautiful! It was designed by Addison Mizner and built in the 1920’s and the gardens are pristine! The bellmen are so prompt, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming! Once you make it into the lobby the architectural details are just as astounding, they have lush indoor planters and fresh flower arrangements daily.

At the desk we were given maps of the facilities, cold bottled water (south Florida heat and humidity is something else), and a guide to the amenities, restaurants, and daily resort activities (sunrise yoga, cooking classes, art gallery tour, ect) all included in the stay.

We made it to our room and settled in. It was lovely, perfectly clean, and the dressing area before the actual shower/toilet was a really nice touch! They made great use of the space whenever they redid the original building, nothing felt small or cramped.

The sodas, waters, and snacks in the minibar are included in your stay and refilled daily… so I’d you only like regular Coke and don’t want the gummy bears housekeeping will refill to your preference. Also you’re provided with two insulated metal water bottles (gratis) that can be filled at fountains all over the property. Any of the bottled waters you receive are recycled aluminum that are processed and filled on property as part of their commitment to being greener!!

There are quite a few dining options and bar/lounges on the property all with their own vibe. Everything I had was better than the previous. The cocktails are wonderful but all “craft” so they take a few minutes to make and bet to the table. Dress code recommendations are in your welcome packet and resort book in the rooms.

The pools are great! There’s a family/kid section with water slides and a lazy river. The burger bar and ice cream place near it is top notch with amazing views of the canal! The main pool is great with plenty of shade by the lounges.

Every single person I encountered was lovely and accommodating!

Oh and take some time to stroll the property and take in the artwork scattered throughout. There are amazing artists displayed in the many hallways, beautiful sculptures on the grounds, and as well as the collection in the Sponder Gallery.

So I guess tl;dr… beautiful architecture, amazing staff (truly amazing people), good food, lots to do!

We stayed first 6 nights in the main resort we got upgraded to junior suite , it was a spacious suite with great views from high floor! We loved every minute of it! We enjoyed tennis almost every day , the spa area itself was gorgeous , ritual bath followed by massage and body wrap were fantastic , though sauna and steam room needed a bit of upgrade . The grounds are beautiful, the exotic trees surrounding the resort were breathtaking! The kids enjoyed mizner quest . Blue was delicious , Serendipity was great. Palm court was so so , and 501 was surprisingly good. However We had issues with breakfast every morning , it’s a buffet and the waiters demanded 20% tip and included it with every bill! I don’t mind tipping at restaurants but 20% included for a party of 4 every morning for pouring a cup of coffee is absurd! And the entitled attitude of these “ waiters” was rather unpleasant.
We then stayed 3 nights at the beach club this was not at all impressive - overcrowded pool, overcrowded beach , overpriced food, very small rooms with very small beds . And having other people’s bills end up on our account at check out .

Gorgeous Spanish conquista period themed/looking hotel.

Extremely well equipped and comfortable, quiet bedroom, with views on the gorgeous hotel “cloister”.
Luxury bedding (slept like a baby on a cloud) and bathroom with all relevant amenities and toiletries supplied.

Great surrounding park and amenities, including a bar on the beach with a boat shuttle, golf club, gorgeous tropical garden and buildings.

I didn’t get to have breakfast at this location and didn’t interact much with staff, and cannot provide in-depth feedback but the few interactions I had with staff were pleasant.

I very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boca Ratón.

Our experience was just fine but for almost $1200 per night it was substantially below par. Although the hotel asked us what time we expected to check in and we told them in the am, when we arrived our room was not ready. They left the bags in the middle of the lobby and when we asked for a ticket for our bags they said it wasn't necessary as they would keep an eye on them. After seeing our concern, someone ran out from behind the desk and gave us a ticket. The lady at the desk wasn't particularly welcoming and she never reviewed our Virtuoso package.

Our room was tiny, lacking drawers and the closet doors didn't even fully open. The bathroom was lovely but also lacked sufficient mirrors/shelves. The toiletries consisted of a mini bar of soap and very nice Molton Brown shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The robe reminded my wife of day surgery. Our view from the 2nd floor was overlooking the parking area.

Housekeeping was fine but they forgot turndown service one night and also forgot to clean coffee mugs and replace our coffee one day. I realize all this seems petty but when you pay so much, expectations are high. Stayed a few weeks ago at Ritz Naples for almost the same price and no comparison...I think the car valet's were the best part of our stay. The guys were attentive and polite.

Thank you for your comments following your most recent stay. We were saddened to read of the challenges and service issues you encountered and hope you know it was not our intention to disappoint you during your stay. We are continuously training and improving our services with our guest relations team as we transition to a fully open and operating resort. Additionally, many of our renovation projects are nearing completion and we beginning to unveil exciting new experiences, like the recent opening of Maison Rose, artfully crafted chocolate and macaron shop. We look forward to welcoming you in the very near future.

Hotel buildings and grounds = 7/10 because of ongoing construction, but likely 10/10 once the construction will be finished
Staff attentiveness and professionalism = 2/10
Food quality and taste = 0/10
Price = excessive

This was a business trip and it was terrible. The room I had reserved many months in advance was supposed to be in the main building, but ended being in a building located about 10 minute driving distance away via the hotel shuttle. No one had bothered to provide an update (or most of the people I spoke with) of the location change, so I was extremely surprised by this change. The food at all the restaurants I tried was either not salted at all or over salted and alway lacking in flavor. The price for anything and everything was as if for a 3 Michelin star experience (which I do not have any problem paying for) but at a "no fork" quality. I cannot stress enough how indescribably bad the food was everywhere and how untrained the waiters were at the 4 restaurants I ate at. The hotel staff was pleasant enough but not attentive and utterly inefficient. The room I stayed in was spacious but the morning after the conference ended I was surprised to wake up to no hot water in the morning at 7:00 AM. The hot water came on on its own 10 minutes after calling the main desk leading me to believe that they had turned it off. The TV setup was inadequate and with only a handful of channels available. I expected to have a lovely experience in a beautiful location, but ended feeling trapped for 5 days. I cannot remember ever having such a disappointing experience in what is supposed to be one of the best hotels in the country.

We weren’t warned about the construction in the main building when we booked the resort. We were redirected to the “bungalows” once we checked in. The “bungalows” don’t mean you get 2 floors, but instead you are far removed from everything else with the same sized room. We requested extra shampoo/shower gel a few times but no one came. The pools and dining rooms on the property were all closed. Instead we needed to take the shuttle to the Boca Beach Club. The restaurant was packed at all times. So was the pool. We didn’t pay $1600 per night to stay in a substandard room with access to only 1 pool and 1 restaurant which were perpetually crowded. Wouldn’t recommend or at least ask about the construction before you book.

I had booked the Bungalow as we are a family of 5 with 3 children ages 1, 4 and 8. Upon arrival we were notified that the Bungalow was unavailable. The staff tried to accommodate with 2 rooms in the tower. Although the rooms were nice, they were separate. My family could not sleep together. I slept with my 4 and 8 year old in one room and my wife slept with the 1 year old in the other room. The resort did accommodate by reducing the fee, but the inconvenience of not being able to spend a family vacation in a room together outweighed any price reduction. Further the Bungalow has a kitchen and washer dryer which is an absolute necessity having small children, especially a 1 year old who needs to have bottles warmed up to drink. My wife had to scramble to get him warm milk every day when what we booked could have easily taken care of that. Again, the resort staff did its best in trying to accommodate, but the overall experience was terrible. I wanted to come back in April but I am on the fence since this happened. It seems to me that the Bungalow was overbooked and we got pushed out. If I had know about this ahead of time I would have canceled my trip or gone elsewhere where we would have gotten what we had booked. Overall bad experience.

Dear B2550LHalbert, We are sorry to hear about your experience during your recent stay at The Boca Raton. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. We understand that the Bungalow you had booked was unavailable upon your arrival, and that despite our staff's best efforts to accommodate you with two separate rooms in the tower, this was not a satisfactory solution for your family. We are sorry to hear that the inconvenience of not being able to spend a family vacation in a room together outweighed the price reduction we provided. We also understand that the Bungalow was a better fit for your family's needs, as it had a kitchen and washer dryer, which are essential when traveling with small children. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by not being able to provide this accommodation. We take your comments seriously and will review our internal procedures to ensure that we can provide seamless service to our guests. We appreciate your feedback and want to assure you that we always strive to provide exceptional service to our guests. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with the exceptional experience that we are known for. If you do decide to visit us again in the future, please contact us directly and we will do our best to ensure that your stay is a memorable one! Warm Regards, Daniel A. I have previously stayed here in 2017 & 2019, and this was the first time I have returned for a work conference since Covid. The new renovations at the Boca Raton are absolutely stunning and the updated rooms are incredible. I feel like I could live there, and it truly feels like a paradise walking around the resort. The welcome staff and the overall service was fantastic. They even had a butler service conveniently available via text. This was the perfect atmosphere to offer client meetings while hosting a conference at this venue.
While the Boca Raton was amazing for the most part, among poor wifi and trash on the beach, you will have to offer your first newborn for their updated pricing on food & bev, which has doubled or tripled in some cases since my last trip in 2019. When I first arrived, I got lunch at Sadelle's where a burger, fries, and a cup of drip coffee for lunch cost $50. This set the tone for the trip. A few examples - chips and dip alone is listed at $22 by the pool, costing nearly $30 after tax and included gratuity (the chipotle aioli is to die for). An IPA and a glass of house chardonnay at the Palm Court costs $50 for only two drinks. While I appreciate gratuity is automatically included in your bill, some of the servers were quite pushy to upsell you on more expensive selections on options like wine or just ordering more food/drink seemingly to increase their payout. I also understand increasing costs to help cover the ongoing improvements and renovations, but this is not Geneva.
Also, if you plan a dinner meeting with a client at their Italian restaurant, Principessa for 3 people, and wind up having to cancel (as client plans frequently change), they will charge a $135 cancellation fee they never tell you about at the host stand but will surprise you with the bill on your way out. Make sure to ask about cancellation policies when make any sort of reservations on the resort.
While the resort was incredibly beautiful and the staff for the most part were amazing, this resort is not a sustainable place to host client meetings with their new astronomical prices. However, if you can stomach the costs, I absolutely recommend bringing your significant other or your family to enjoy the accommodations. My fiance got to enjoy the spa last trip, and spent most of her days at the pool or beach while I worked. She also loved going on runs around the beautiful grounds. She would give the place a 12/10, but she's not the one paying for it!

This place is exactly as described. I don't think you can find a better experience to truly have a luxury vacation. The customer service was impeccable from every single staff member from the waitress to front desk to the beach staff - everyone single person here is trying to make sure you don't lift a finger and have everything you need and have the best experience possible. The food at every restaurant was amazing. Drink lists amazing. The spa was beautiful and an experience in itself. The oceanfront rooms are truly oceanfront but they do have the pools and the plant barrier between the room balcony and the ocean but this is very typical for the area. We had it narrowed down to stay here or the Breakers and this location is definitely better view and beach area as we visited both. The beach service is great and can order drinks and food from 11am-5pm. The property is at the end of the beach and has a canal on one side so not much walking traffic on the beach. Very family friendly mostly families and couples. Not a late night party scene and very quiet at night which is what we wanted. But does have a great lobby bar/dinner/entertainment area every night that was great! The breakfast is at the Marisol (also has lunch and dinner) and great view of the ocean and the beach club area food is great with a balcony view of the ocean that has lunch and dinner so you have a great ocean view for every meal if you want and this is very rare in this area. If you are looking for a trip to not need to leave the resort and experience the highest level of service, amenities, food, and ocean you have found your place!

Stayed in Cloister. Rooms are a good size and housekeeping does a crackerjack job cleaning and keeping it stocked. Everywhere on this resort staff had impeccable manners and were friendly. Food and drink prices are very expensive but the food was great at the beach, pool and Marisol although we found the pool and Marisol to be a little short staffed. I'd come back in a second.

Personally, I prefer the shopping and restaurants in Delray to those in Boca. I would also say that you want to leave the resort property to eat as, inside the gates, you will get gouged. A few good restaurants outside the hotel - Luff's probably my favorite.
