I am a loyal customer of this hotel, I visit it with my family up to ten times a year. I have always been very satisfied with the service, but not this time.This time in the reception staff was very not friendly and arrogant. Room number 219, do not take it in any way, because there will be very noisy ! Both sides two staff rooms. The room was uncleaned in the rubbish bin, but the biggest problem with the shower , which have big water leak all bathroom area . After reporting the problem to the receptionist she called the plumbers. Because they could not fix the water leak , plumbers will recommend to change the room. It is good quality, but still it can be improved. Waiting time for check in is too long, check in starts at 15:00 Dinner is served 18.00-20.00 but after 20.00 children is not allowed to SPA Dinner price (Swedish table) has increase for 2 adults and kid from 50 eur to 62 eur. I assume it is significant increase. Overall it is good experienced!
Price does not correspond to the value. It was very unpleasant when at the time of check out the receptionist did not include the sum which was paid in advance of 300 euros. Only after we insisted to find the advance payment she managed to find it and even did not apologise for such inconvenience. Also, it is very awkward that after every procedure it is asked to evaluate the procedure and specialist, to leave tip for a procedure which is rather expensive. But otherwise the restaurant was very nice, the staff of the restaurant very polite, helpful and the food was very delicious. Also, the children room was very cozy and the women working there very kind.
The hotel is messy. Room furniture, dirty walls. When I came into the room, the handle of the bathroom door fell, the door was smeared and touched, the wall was also splashed, the armchair was clicked. The room is open all day from the sounds of the belimio basic equipment in the morning (it is good that the pool does not work at night and the sounds disappear). Feedback leaflets after procedures are some kind of implicit obligation to leave tips for the procedure for what has already been paid for. the selection of different pools didn’t make us bored and mineral water hadn’t left dry skin as in other pools. We booked deluxe room which was very spacious. Only one down side of the room - sofa-bed to narrow for two children. Food, either buffet or al’a carte, was so delicious that to stay longer is dangerous for a figure. The locations is awesome - very close to beautiful town Birstonas where are nice walks and sceneries. Only 10 min drive to Prienai where you can get famous ceburekai, kibinai and curd cheese doughnuts! Highly recommending!
poor customer service, when I called hotel to reserve booking date, phone call was dropped and there was no callback, second call from my side was not picked up at all, had to communicate via email. I asked to change booking conditions and bring third person -my son 6 yo, but reception was insisting to upgrade room to superior, instead of standard one that I booked, which is not mini anyway and standard room perfectly fit my needs, as I am budget traveler. Never had such issues anywhere I traveled- Tokyo Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, where budget hotels offer really small rooms and sometimes no windows at all. Restaurant service was terrible, staff was not trained to collect dirty dishes, I had my plate and silverware removed without even being asked and when I complained…
Food in SPA restaurant is perfect. I advise to visit this place for this one reason even if you aren't especially interested in SPA water attractions (which for me was good too - not a lot of activities, but not crowded, not laud, clean etc.). If you are looking for quiet place - it is for you. The location of the SPA is not the most attractive. Other hands they provide large parking for cars - this is good for travelers with cars.
When we arrived our room was unprepared, there were no towels or robes, no extra bed like we asked:) The hotel is really overbooked. When we went to the spa they didn’t give us any keys for the lockers (because they only give them to people who aren’t hotel guest and only come to use the pool and spa). The hotel guests need to leave all their belongings in their room while using the spa or pool, making it really uncomfortable for people who want to save time. Also the pool area is really small and it was really overfilled with people. In addition, the hotel has a weird policy of asking for personal documents from all the guests from the same room and the receptions couldn’t explain why this is needed. Vytautas Mineral SPA is definitely one of the best spa hotels in Lithuania. Everything was perfect. Spa zone have several pools. There are many different saunas, you always get a new towel before going to pool ans spa zone.
Expensive family get-away. Great location, very nice hotel, good food, but quite expensive for a family. Family rooms are studio type, which is a bit uncomfortable with small children and they are more expensive.
