About the Business
Visconti's Ristorante, afamily owned full service restaurant, has been in Folsom for the past 20 years (being founded in 1992), a place where we created memories with our friends and clients, where we raised our children and grandchildren and where we did our best to make you feel at home each time you came to visit.

I love Visconti's! My family and friends regularly visit and eat here and leave happy and full every single time!
The staff is super friendly, and we always feel like we're treated special.
I love their Chicken Parmesan!

Food: delicious, huge portions so order accordingly!
Service: incredible, such sweet folks! I wish I had our servers name, so patient and incredibly sweet!
Ambiance: amazing, we went on a Friday and it was packed! Great place to celebrate events. We celebrated a surprise sprinkle :)
Drinks: it was yummy, just a tip for their old fashions. Have a bigger glass because it ends up being too strong. I believe the cups weren't meant for old fashion!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dacja P.Sacramento, CA03616Apr 6, 2024
I've ordered from here off of DoorDash a ton of times and always loved it, but unfortunately the most recent time will be my last. Everything came delivered piping hot, as always, but my linguine and clams was literally so terrible I had to throw it out ):
Firstly, it had a ton of sand, I'm guessing from the clams. Secondly, it literally tasted like boiled noodles with a can of clams and their juices dumped on top. I don't know if something happened during prep, but it didn't taste *right*. The noodles literally had no other flavor than clam water. I didn't taste any salt, garlic, cheese, NOTHING BUT HOT CLAM WATER.
Maybe I just had a bad batch, but it was really unfortunate and now I have a bad taste in my mouth, literally! Maybe the chef needs to taste the seafood at the start of each shift to ensure it's okay to serve :/
If you eat there, probably avoid ordering this.
However, their complementary bread and salad was delish as always.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Edoardo S.Parkway, CA043Jan 10, 2024
The service was dreadful. We arrived at 4 pm and asked for a table, having no reservation. Despite the restaurant being practically empty, they declined to give us a table and instead seated us at the bar. We spent 30 minutes observing vacant tables, yet they insisted the restaurant was fully booked.
To add to the disappointment, when our dishes arrived, I discovered a piece of plastic in my linguini calamari.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 4 - Mar 13, 20241 check-in
Walked in and was greeted right away. Little of a wait time if you don't have a reservation. Opt to sit at the bar. Was welcomed by the bartender, friendly. Recommend his favorite hazy along with other drinks. I got the dried ravioli for the starter. I'll give it 3/5 stars. The pollo Marsala was amazing! 5 outta 5!!! Cooked to perfection, full of flavor. Breaded was perfect and not over seasoned. Everyone there seemed to know each other which made sitting at the bar pleasurable. Felt like an episode of cheers. Will most definitely be coming back and exploring more of the menu. Great location to bring a date, family or just yourself.

Visconti's is my husband's favorite restaurant in Folsom. He loves the delicious, hearty Italian American food (Southern Italian).
We went for lunch recently, He ordered the Italian sandwich that came with a side salad $15. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which comes with garlic bread. The sandwich was served on a baguette with beautiful looking crisp exterior and moist interior. The deli meats and fixings tasted fresh and flavorful. It had a touch of oil and vinegar. Yum! The garden salad looked and tasted fresh. The spaghetti and meatballs ($15) were a nice size serving size that is served with two hunky meatballs. The sauce is so darn delicious. The meatballs had a great moistness and airy texture with good flavor. The garlic bread is ah-mazing yumminess. Garlic buttery goodness! But on our last visit, the kitchen was running a bit behind on getting the garlic bread orders out to the tables. We received our bread at the same time as our entrees.Helpful 32Thanks 3Love this 27Oh no 0Jan 5, 2023Previous reviewI've been here several times but never ate here. Why? Well because this place is so darn popular that without a reservation, the chances to get in is slim. So recently I tried my luck for lunch... success. We walked in a few minutes after they opened for the day at 11am. The food is terrific. But the service is disjointed and left me with a bit of heartburn.
There were two hostesses. Neither of them greeted me as I initially walked in. One of them asked me "what do you want". Hmm... I though to myself...that's a different way to greet customers. It definitely threw me and set a memorable tone for the lunch. It harsched my mellow. Anyhoo, I replied " table for two for lunch". She grabbed menus and said "follow me ". So far I'm not digging the vibe.
Jeffrey was our waiter. He had a bright big smile and awesome attitude. So polar opposite from the hostesses attitudes. Thank goodness. The restaurant quickly filled and he was on point. He provided top notch service.
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs (SAM), it came with garlic bread. $14. Hubs ordered the gif Italian sandwich which comes with a small salad. The garlic bread was fantastic. Warm toasty bread with garlicky butter and topped with parmesan cheese.... Mmm... so good. The meatballs were a hefty size but not weighty and dense. They were light and moist. The sauce had a sweetness to it. Overall not bad SAM but the Italian combo sandwich ($14) was stellar. Hubs begrudgingly shared some of it with me. Oh boy, it was delicious. It's served warm. The bread was outstanding, it's the same bread that they make the garlic bread with. Jeffrey's great customer service and the food (shout out to the chefs and kitchen folks) salvaged my first dining experience. It started off pretty ruff. I'm apt to come back and try other things off the menu. - Mar 14, 2024Updated review
This place is an all time favorite for me. I will constantly keep coming here for the food but also the feel and hospitality. Some of the waiters have been there for 10+ years and love working there. But if this place is raves for about anything please let it be the food. This place is Italian through and through. And if you have room don't skip on the gelato

The interior of this restaurant is very nice. It's a great place to have date night or celebrate a special occasion. We came on a weekday evening and the restaurant was probably at half capacity. It didn't seem too busy, but the staff members could work on speed and efficiency. One staff member was rude and almost bumped into me without apologizing. I didn't appreciate that at all. It also took some time to get water and the tab but the food here was great. The food was 5 stars but the service could be improved on.

Recently moved to EDH. As we begin to find the normalcy in our daily lives, we too had to explore new restaurants. However, this place was recommended from another server from the City Center. I mist say, it was a blessing in the skies.
If you are looking for authentic, delicious, and provide the best service, look no further you have found it.
The food is AHhMAZING!!!! They start you off we Garlic bread, soft and filled with full garlic of deliciousness.
I ordered the eggplant filled with ground beef, topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, just out of this world. I highly recommend sharing this plate.
My wife ordered the shrimp with angel hair pasta, the bomb Lots of flavor and light in texture!
For dessert, definitely the tiramisu, not to sweet just right and very light!
The espresso martini is also a must, delicious.
This place is definetley our Italian spot. I recommend to call ahead a set a reservation or else you will be waiting for a couple of hours!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sep 6, 2023
This restaurant has been recommended to us by friends. I was very excited to give it a try and really wanted to love it. Love would be a bit too strong but it was good.
It's an old school family style restaurant, not date night material.
Our server, Cathy, was wonderful. She was attentive and personable.
Drinks and soup/salad arrived quickly. Mr. S loved the minestrone, I thought it was just ok. I had the house dressing on my salad which has a mustard base. Not what I'd expect at an Italian restaurant, but it was different.
My entree, Momma's Eggplant, was really good and very rich. He had Spaghetti and Meatballs and liked it but said it was nothing special. Servings were ample and we had enough for lunch tomorrow.
We thought we would try the Tiramisu since it's made in house. Good, but a bit too sweet.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
