The Ruins is the seventh puzzle in Virtual Villagers 3: The Secret City.
Overview[]
In order to solve this puzzle go to the southeast side of the screen, where there is the large pile of rocks.

Steps[]
Drag villagers to the rocks, and they will begin clearing the rubble.
Tips[]
- Place the chief close by so that they can help direct the villagers and keep the villagers focused.
- Once they have cleared at least 2 percent of the rocks, you'll begin to see some of the tablet pieces. If you have any children in the village at this time, drop them on the tablets so they can drag them back to the lab.
- The 4 common tablet pieces will show up first, and then the uncommons, and then the rares.
- After you've collected a particular tablet piece, it will not show up again. However, if you miss it, it will come back eventually.
- If you use the double collecting trick on the tablet pieces, both children will say that they are collecting a new item, but the second child to arrive in the lab will create tech points. Since duplicate tablet pieces don't show up after collecting them, this isn't a horrible way to earn tech points.
- You can place a villager on the cave at any time after the rocks have been cleared and you'll see some history about the island.
