During this conflict, a leader's plans were almost derailed by a charge led by Baldwin de Carron
and Garnier de Nablus. Forces captured the Sultanate of Rum's capital during this conflict's Battle of

of Arsuf in this crusade, an invasion failed to take Jerusalem.
