Tips & Tricks

• Write your first article
• save regularly
• you can edit each paragraph and don't have to edit the whole article

Go live am Freitag

• completed article -> copy your additions from your draft article (sandbox) and paste it in the Wikipedia article.
• article newly created -> Copy the draft of your article (sandbox). Afterwards enter the name of your article here and click on the red link that is being generated. Afterwards paste your article in there and save.
• partial translation -> copy your translations from your draft article (sandbox) and paste it in the Wikipedia article. Make sure to indicate in the "edit summary" field that these are translations from the en/fr/it/de article.
• translation of an entire article -> You have to import the history of the article and make sure you follow the steps which are described here. After you have imported the history to your sandbox, make sure to not only copy your article and paste it in Wikipedia. You have to "move" your article from your sandbox to the original namespace. You can find out more on how to move a page.
• For Everyone: Last but not least, everyone should add categories once the article has been moved in the name-space of Wikipedia.
