Sandra Bullock lands in Netflix's all-time Top 10 list for the second time with The Unforgivable. The Oscar-winning actress first ascended the streaming service's throne with Bird Box, a 2018 thriller set in a post-apocalyptic world populated by monsters that cause anyone who look into their eyes to commit violent suicide. While that movie received mixed reviews from critics, it quickly climbed the charts to become Netflix's most-watched original title in its history, only recently being dethroned by Red Notice.

For her first film since Bird Box, Bullock returns to Netflix with The Unforgivable, an intriguing mystery about a woman recently released from prison after serving 20 years for killing a police officer. On her road to rehabilitation, her attempts to reenter society are thwarted by revenge plots and an unjust parole system. The film is based on the 2009 British miniseries Unforgiven and is now brought to American audiences by director Nora Fingscheidt and writers Peter Craig, Hillary Seitz, and Courtenay Miles. Its supporting cast includes Vincent D'Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Richard Thomas, Linda Emond, Aisling Franciosi, Rob Morgan, and Viola Davis.

Now, per Variety, viewing numbers are in for The Unforgivable and the movie has officially cracked Netflix's Top 10 most-watched movies of all time. To date, The Unforgivable has been viewed for 186,900,000 hours. That figure is only expected to increase as more numbers come in for its first 28 days of streaming availability.

This recent release joins her 2018 film Bird Box in the Top 10, which has been watched for over 280,020,000 hours, making her the only actress with two titles on the list. Bullock is now matched only by Ryan Reynolds whose 2019 action-thriller 6 Underground and the more recent Red Notice can also be found in the Top 10. The latter film recently dethroned Bird Box as number one, though it should be noted that Red Notice did it with a budget that exceeded $200 million and a star-studded cast that also includes Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot. Bird Box was produced on a much more modest budget of $20 million.

Like Bird Box, The Unforgivable has been garnering mixed reviews, though its popularity cannot be denied, along with Bullock's star power. While she is now arguably Netflix's biggest in-house star, she has not given up on the theatrical model entirely, as her romantic adventure The Lost City alongside Channing Tatum is currently slated for a release from Paramount next year. On the other hand, The Unforgivable is currently streaming on Netflix.
