Underworld is an American feature film of the horror and action genres. It is the fifth installment in the Underworld film series and was directed by Anna Foerster. The screenplay was written by Cory Goodman based on a story treatment by Goodman and Kyle Ward. The film was produced by Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems and premiered theatrically in the United States on Friday January 20th, 2006.
