MANILA, Philippines - How does it feel to rise 150 feet into the sky and then suddenly drop down to earth at about 50 miles per hour?

"Umagang Kay Ganda" hosts Donita Rose and Andrei Felix will surely tell you the experience is not for the faint of heart.

Rose and Felix were among the first few to try out the latest attraction of Enchanted Kingdom at Sta. Rosa, Laguna: the aptly named EKstreme Tower Ride.

The 150-feet tower has a passenger car that can lift as many as 12 persons from the ground up to the peak.

After a second or two, the car will suddenly plunge all the way down taking the passengers on an adrenaline-pumping drop.

Cesar Mario Mamon, the president of the theme park, assured passengers of their safety saying that the ride complies with the highest security standards in America where it came from.

During the ride, passengers are secured to their seats by an over-the-shoulder restraint system commonly seen in roller coasters.

The EKstreme Tower ride will officially open to the public on October 17 as part of Enchanted Kingdom’s 15th year anniversary celebration.
