First of all, Tubi's library is enormous. A lot of it is older and/or second-tier/z-list stuff, but there are occasionally newer, popular things available. The fact that Tubi Originals are now rolling out is nice, and they also have a Tubi Exclusive section, which lets you see things that you can't stream elsewhere.

Unlike a lot of other free services that don't require you to make an account, Tubi will let you do so if you choose, which enables you to pick up where you left off across devices. It also gives you access to parental controls, which isn't useful for me, but may be for people with children. I do wish that the Fire TV app let me log in with my normal Tubi account, rather than my Amazon account, as every other platform does.

A lot of the content doesn't have the best picture quality, but for a free service, I can't complain too much. The same thing is the case with where ads are inserted into content--sometimes it's in the middle of a sentence--although it's seemingly worse for movies than TV series, and it's not as bad as some other free services (looking at you, Redbox).

There aren't many FAST channel streams, but there are already so many competitors in that space--Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Xumo, Samsung TV+, LG Channels, Vizio WatchFree+, Peacock, Redbox, Plex, Stirr- etc--that it doesn't really feel necessary. They do AVOD exceptionally well, and I hope that they continue to focus on it.

I do wish that they would make it easier to sort between movies and TV shows, rather than mixing them all together. Other than that, searching for content is very easy, and the user interface is intuitive.

Fox seems intent on making Tubi as good as it can be, and they're trying to focus on being more of a supplement to, rather than direct competition for, Netflix/Disney+/et al. As saturated as the subscription VOD market is right now, I think this is a smart choice. Tubi isn't going to replace your Netflix subscription, but it's definitely worth having, especially for free, as a supplement to it. Even then, if you're adamant about not paying for any streaming services, you can cobble together something decent with this and a few others.

Absolutely worth a download.

Before not sure doing anymore can depend on your device, your device can through your history show all the movies that was played on Tubi. Very surprised when found Tubi more than a year ago, not just long list with many movies are TV shows live TV and not that many ads play many hours with no ads.

Do you like watching movies/films, television shows, or even the news? Do you want to do so without subscriptions and pop up ads every 10 minutes? Do you want to be able to watch legitimate box office movies, instead of bottom of the barrel dollar store finds and lots of foreign films you've never heard of (and probably never wanted to). Looking at you Netflix.
Well then go download Tubi. You won't be disappointed.

I have found so many great movies, including some I was unable to find streaming on Amazon or Netflix. They really do seem to have a selection for any age group, and even eclectic movie viewers like myself. They're also constantly adding new films, though that means a lot have a limited availability time. Though that's not unlike any other streaming service.

For a more in depth example of their offerings, I am a big horror movie fan. I have found, and still have on my list, several very hard to find foreign horror films, some of which the only way to watch previously was to buy an overpriced DVD, or search on some sketchy Internet sites.
I also love disaster movies, and while they have plenty of Sci-Fi channel quality ones, I have found others that are very high caliber. And maybe sometimes I enjoy watching cheesy 90's Lifetime movies. Or original versions of popular movies that have been 'rebooted'. You can find those here, too. I could go on and on.

It does have ads, sorry to disillusion you, but they are never longer than a minute, and do not overall detract from the viewing experience. A small price to pay for free.
Signing up was as easy as making a log-on account, and as I mentioned before, no subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no pop-ups to 'upgrade to premium'.
I have it downloaded on both my Kindle and Android phone, and it works great on both. They have an option to view it from your TV, as well. I haven't tried that method since my Samsung TV is stubborn and apparently too old to comply.
One further note, at least using the Kindle version of the app, they offer handicap accessibility options, which I don't see on a lot of video viewers. Personally I use captions when I watch movies, as a matter of preference, and was happy to see that option.

TLDR, do yourself a favor and download TUBI now. You won't be disappointed! I've recommended to all my friends just because I enjoy it that much, and you can't beat free!

I adored this app when I first got it. I love how it will start another movie that is similar to one you've just watched. However, since a few months ago, it takes forever to get the app to load. It keeps telling me I need to update it, but when I try, it says it's up to date. I have to go back and forth several times before it will work. Most times, I just give up and use a different streaming site. Please, please fix this glitch!!!
