Very good food, service and ambiance. Price a little high but when one considers the quality of food, service, ambiance and the linen table cloths and napkins its right on. Try it you won't be disappointed.

The food at Trotter's was very good and despite some reviews, all of our food came out piping hot. The lobster bisque was excellent and everything else we had was delicious. First time dining there and would go back for sure. Here's the thing that...was interesting- there are two floors. The waitresses had to be some kind of athletes! They ran up and down the stairs constantly. It was strange that the top floor did not have an area for the wait staff to pick up pitchers of water to replenish your drink, rather than running back down stairs. I watched as they ran up and down for everything! Needs to be a more efficient set up. While the staff was very friendly and attentive, it did take a long time to get our food. The only other thing- owners- you might want to fix the ceiling. There is a big open area in which the insulation is exposed- right over the diners heads. Not appealing.More
Wow, off to a great start. NOT! Expected a nice anniversary evening, a hoity toity place, but failed miserably. 1. Chlorine in the drinking water 2. Lobster bisque runny, needed cooked longer 3. Salad was drowning in dressing, should have been on the side 4....Little tiny rolls was all we got 5. Waitress almost non-existent while we were the only ones there. Was on her phone a lot. 6. French dip was so tiny and bland, might as well of gotten Arby's for half the price and tasting better. 7. Creme brulee was exactly 1 bite big. 8. Bloody Mary was total crap, way too salty, not worth its ingredients. $71 total. Never again!More
Delicious food! The appetizer was some sort of baked cheese that knocked our socks of. The steak was perfect and potions were large. Good service & atmosphere. A hidden gem in Indiana!
