Rita Ora and her boyfriend Taika Waititi narrowly missed Tessa Thompson as they left a Met Gala afterparty in the early hours of Tuesday morning following the trio's three-way kiss earlier this year.
Thor director Taika, 46, made headlines around the world for his three-way kiss with Rita, 30, and Tessa, 37, one of the stars of his movie Thor: Love and Thunder, on the balcony of his Bondi home on May 23.
Yet the trio didn't cross paths after the Met Gala in New York, with singer Rita seen putting on a cosy display with Taika as they left the party shortly after Tessa.
Meanwhile, Tessa had spent the night hanging out with another couple, Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz.

Yet she left the party with another pal, and was seen glancing over her shoulder as she headed home at 6AM, with Rita and Taika following behind.
The star showed off her edgy style as she walked alongside a pal in a unique gold chain dress which left plenty of skin on show.
She wore a pair of black high-heeled boots with extended toes to match her underwear which was visible through her dress.
Meanwhile, Rita and Taika were coordinated in black with Rita wearing a black cropped top, leaving her midriff on show, while Taika opted for a smart suit.

Back in July, Taika spoke out about his three-way kiss with Tessa and Rita, labelling it 'no big deal'.
Despite reports he was 'reprimanded' by Marvel executives for his behaviour, the New Zealand filmmaker told ET Canada he 'wasn't upset' by the media attention the photos received.
He said: 'Not really. I think in the world of the Internet, everything goes away pretty quick. And also, "Is it that big a deal?" No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It's fine.'
Despite the pair remaining friends, the trio were not pictured together at the Met Gala.

Zoe and Channing had opted to walk the red carpet separately at the start of the night, but hours later they were very much together as they left the Bowery hotel in New York looking disheveled and giddy.
The 41-year-old actor and the 32-year-old actress have been the subject of romance rumors over the past several weeks as they continue to spend tons of time together in NYC.
