Good pressing of another classic record. The sound on this is one of the cleanest I’ve heard on this album. This one also is not going to break the bank. If you can grab one it’s worth it. If you like Aerosmith or just this particular record, don’t pass it up, this one you can crank. Only downside is a little surface noise but that tends to get lost in the jams.
I think I have some weird hybrid pressing.. Matrix matches this release, but my jacket is lighter colored & says "Aerosmith Fan Club" on the back. I don't see another listing like it. Maybe it's a transitional pressing, when they went to using lighter colored printing, while retaining the early fan club sleeve text? That's my guess anyway.

- I love this album. It really showcases how they were in the 70s. My favorite is Big Ten Inch Record, just ridiculous.
Edited 7 months agoI’ve thought about replacing this pressing with a US 1st, but they don’t seem to be regarded as that great, and the slightly better one (German 1st) is also only middling. This is an absolutely phenomenal pressing - DSD or not (it is DSD, I’m pretty sure). I wouldn’t even replace this with the new and supposedly better Capitol reissue. I personally consider this to be at an audiophile standard.
