If Toby Kebbel hasn’t broken your heart or blown your mind enough, take a Servant break for this one hour Black Mirror episode with Toby. It’ll make you feel all the feelings! He’s incredible
That episode is a complete and utter masterpiece
My absolute favorite Black Mirror episode, and the first thing I had seen him act in. Instantly became a fan of his work.
Same & SAME!
I’ve been googling his name for awhile to see his work and that is how I found this show actually!
Hoe ass wife, had my man trippin. Dorothy 2.0
She really tried to delete those memories with him sitting right there.
My anxiety was at a 10/10
I thought he was trippin at first but she was hella familiar with dude at the dinner. But the fact that it wasn’t even his kid 💀 Bro……….
Dorothy isn’t lying to Sean…she didn’t cheat on Sean. Why would you compare the two?
Ummm Dorothy killed her first baby, mind you? She’s been delusional ever since... This whole series is a mindfuck. All based on lies.
Or so MNS would lead us to believe! 🤨🤔
“Killed” her first baby? Her baby died. She’s not a murderer.
Fairly certain her first child died of negligence.
lol just seen this post. Had a rewatch of that a cpl weeks ago. Love Black Mirror cant wait till next season.
I’m so happy Black Mirror is coming back. It’s one of my favorite shows. That episode is amazing.
when's it coming back?!

Yes! One of my favorite Black Mirror episodes.
Fuckin Jonas
Love Black Mirror and this is one of my favorite episodes. He’s a stand-out and I was so stoked when I first started watching Servant and recognized him!!
i did not remember this was him...i remember that episode. one of my faves. thanks for the throwback!
Same. Totally remember the episode tho
Last night I complimented Rupert’s acting in the scene before their fight- Kebbel was great, but Grint was amazing and really looked totally anguished/gutted (Sean was just written as more angry in this specific scene- we’ve seen Sean weep over his son, I think last nights scene just gave Julian more to react to). His sadness/brokenness was just so authentic and it hurt me. It was like watching Lauren Ambrose in “Jericho.”
I almost went back to edit my comment to say that I’ve already seen Toby Kebbel play heartbroken anguish perfectly (I sobbed, a lot. I watched this at least two years ago and vividly remember how sad and empty it made me feel).
He also played cold, insane psychopath perfectly in The Escape Artist with David Tennant and Sophie Okonedo. Flawlessly. He’s really fantastic in every role I’ve ever seen him. But that Black Mirror episode broke my heart and is my very favorite of the series.
Love me a little Toby!
This episode changed my whole way of thinking about the future, relationships and how dark technology can potentially tentacle into every aspect of our lives. Memory is such a fascinating topic and Toby + Jody were awesome here. Was also my fave Black Mirror tied with the Star Trek one….
I've never watched Black Mirror, thanks for the recommendation!! I freaking love Sean/Toby, so I will check it out for sure!
Quick question: since I know next to nothing about Black Mirror, can this episode be watched without having watched the others before it? Or will I be missing important info needed to understand what's happening?
Great question! Every episode is a completely different story with different casts. They all have different themes. You won’t miss out on anything!
Perfect! Thanks so much!
My favorite one is San Junipero. One of the most beautiful love stories I’ve seen on tv. If you’d like another suggestion
Yes, thank you for the suggestion!! I need all the suggestions I can get because I will be looking for things to watch after Servant ends!
Oh my god, yes! San Junipero is so so beautiful (and was filmed in my home at the time ❤️) I loved Mackenzie Davis in that episode and then Station Eleven!
Is it like Twilight Zone ?
Black Mirror is one epic story after another, they aren’t linear or connected, each stands alone.
They stand alone but there are threads of commonality throughout that really tie them together. The evolution of some of the technology (particularly the memory “cookie” aspect that we see in many of them including The Entire History of You which he’s in, is effing fantastic.) Honestly the whole series is a great watch although the episode with the pig situation was kinda dumb to me.
Thanks! I will probably watch the whole series. I have heard that it is really good!
Not my heart what I want him to break tbh
My favorite Black Mirror episode, phenomenal
Not the main actor (paddy considine from house of the dragon is), but everyone should check out dead man's shoes.
Haven’t seen this in years but I do love this episode. He’s great
Rocknrolla is a great movie with Toby :]
I love him! He is fantastic in EVERY role he plays and in his interviews he's always so brilliant and sweet.
this is my favourite black mirror episode ever! Love him
THAT’S what he’s from! Can’t recommend this episode enough!
i have such a crush on daddy chef
