Great Sea Lion Show besides getting to hand feed the Giraffes.
When you are at the ticket window ask to purchase a food bag containing carrots and an apple ( not the grass ones). Save the Apple which has been cut in four for the giraffes' loved them. They put their heads right up to you and take them from the palm of your hands with their tongues. Such gentle creations. The Sea Lion show was just as good as the ones I had seen in Florida and their is no extra charge for that show. You sit in a covered area sheltered from the sun. Even on a hot day its cool there as you are following a path that has been cut at least 3 to 4 feet in the ground covered with over hanging trees, You can bring a packed lunch for many picnic tables are scattered around to eat on and there is a concession stand selling food and drinks. A children's outdoor play area near to Sea Lion Show. Many clean toilets are scattered around too. Most paths accessible for mobility scooters, which I think you can rent by the ticket office if you like. Many clean toilets are scattered around too. Well worth the money, plus they do have a free bus service near to the hotels, just ask at the front desk of your Resort.

          Good day out
Lanzerote different was a great day out. Our driver Leo picked us up on time at our apartment and was full of information from the start. He was very knowledgeable and very passionate about his island .We went to lots of different places and saw things you wouldn't see on some of the other Lanzerote tours We stopped and had a really good lunch, complete with wine.we stopped at so many places it's impossible to remember the names.Leo kept us well informed every step of the way, despite 2 Dutch ladies talking over him, been late back to the bus, wanting to call at chemist for a prescription etc. Thanks Leo, we loved our day with you .

          TERRIFYING
We asked the TUI rep in the hotel if this trip included any driving up or down any mountain road where the bus was over the edge....her response was ...`of course not`...she lied....I have a massive problem with heights and was absolutely terrified going up and down a mountain road in the Volcano where the front of the bus was litterally hanging over the edge of the road over 2000 feet above sea level, you could hear people screeming out as they thought the bus was going over the edge, to say I was terrified is an understatement and all the tour rep who was sat at the front of the bus could say was `didnt the driver do well`?....I thought I was going to have a heart attack, I really did. The rep had to say everything in 4 languages so she talked NONE STOP for the whole of the trip and everything she said was read from her prepared paperwork which was on her clip board. When we got back to the hotel I approached the Tui rep who took our booking to complain and she said she was not the one I had booked it with and she walked away, it was her, all she was just bothered about was taking our 206 euros. We will not be taking those trips again. If you like a cliffhanger then go on it but be warned.

          Fabulous Fun!
What a brilliant experience! We are a family. Parents, older daughter & her boyfriend- a 16yr old autistic lad & young daughter (10) every single one of us enjoyed this. Off roading was such fun, but for the while you are on road it is still fabulous! We had ‘Dennis’ who showed us how to drive the karts & he was great. I will admit to being a little nervous before driving them- but it took me less than 10 minutes to feel comfortable. We stopped up on the mountains to take in the view and what a view- beautiful. I’d definitely recommend buying light a light scarf for around you mouth & nose for every person you have going in the karts & it’s totally open and very dusty/sandy. I purchased 6 before we left the uk- very cheap from amazon but they do sell them in the shop there (obviously not as cheap!) Really highly I recommend this trip!

          Nice tour
It was a really good toir for me. We visisted many interesting places, I would have liked to visit more of Manrique's works instead of spending so much time in Jameos del Agua. But in general it was nice.

          Breathtaking!
The tour started on time with one of the best guides ever. He drove us safely to the most wonderful beach on Fuerteventura. Along the way we stopped at a viewpoint to see the beach from up the mountain. At every stopp we had enough time to take pictures and enjoy the place for a while. Before lunch we drove to another beach where we could just chill or go for a swim. Lunch was very good as well and afterwards we saw the southest point if the island. It was an awesome trip and I definetely recommend it. Especially because of our guide Ivan.

          Surreal landscape
This trip was great value for money with the highlight being the Timanfaya National Park which was fascinating. If you go on this coach tour you bypass the long queues of cars that can be waiting for hours to get in. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the camel rides. These poor creatures look weak and they have to carry tourists up a hill and back down and there seems to be no weight limit. They didn't have any food or drink and it was so hot and they only sit down to let people on and off and there are coach loads of them! Go on the trip but please don't ride the camels.

Great time I recommend paying extra for the more powerful maverick buggies as there a lot newer ours was only 3months old and are automatic , the person moaning in a certain review is you get what u pay for , also there one guide to 3 buggies so no waiting around , We had a good 3hrs on roads and some very bouncy dusty off roads which are so much fun ,There limited to 73 kilometres fast enough , To sum it up £180 euros between 2 great time and worth every penny

          A truly unique place
Lots of steps but plenty of handrails. Really interesting place with Cesar Manrique's unique touch of genius. Plenty of loos and watering holes. Unique and sensitive adaptation of natural features to make this unique and fascinating place accessible.

Horrible and a total waste of € 126,-
This is by far the most horrible excursion you can make at Lanzarote!! A bunch of east Europeans (i believe) run this business just for their own pleasure or fun and they are not bothered at all about their guests! Besides a short explanation about the buggies we never got any information about where we were, where to go or what to see. They hardly spoke to us except the full sentence 'make picture?' The followed routes go, after a a long time on asphalt roads, from one junkyard to another near Arrecife. They promise you tours to remote beaches and exhilarating landscapes, but non of that is true! The guide was hardly 20 years old and took absolutely no responsibility about safety whatsoever, i'm glad nobody got hurt! The buggies are very old, rusty and worn out. The steering had a lot of play, second gear was very hard to engage due to clutchwear (i'm a carmechanic myself and used to race cars and bikes, so i can know) and the coolingfan right behind your head is running full power all the time and is really deafening. Brakes? You can hardly call this brakes on their buggies!! You better hope for headwind, that will slow you down more than the brakes! After we got back, they said we could have a drink (of course, to gain more profit) while we had to wait for the van to get us back to the hotel. After 50 minutes i had to argue to take us back!!! In fact, i really wonder how people can be any positive and write recommending feedback about this tour. I do believe they ask friends and relatives to write positive feedback. I know this happens. Conclusion: Stay away from this rip-off!

          Never again
If you like being driven around for hours in a bus with 70 people, going nowhere, this is the excursion you certainly must book! We wanted to see Timanfaya Park. It took over 4 hours of picking up people at 10 different hotels in 4 villages and driving around the island to get there (including waiting for an hour in a bleak parking lot, with nothing to see or do, while half of the group were riding camels around a little hill — which is another tourist ripoff). All added together we sat in the bus waiting for passengers that were late at the stops for over an hour. Even the guide hardly respected the time he fixed for departures; he once returned 10 minutes late himself. The wine tasting at the end of the tour was a joke. They even didn’t even serve the two wines that were announced and no explanation of whatever kind was given. The cherry on the cake was that the guide was the first to have himself dropped of, leaving us with a kind driver... who spoke only Spanish. Such a bad experience, never again!

Having been to Lanzarote twice before we felt like a boat trip out. Booked a full day with town, sand dunes, lunch and beach to Fuerteventura. Well organised and worth doing for the sand dunes and the beautiful beach. Don’t book a full inclusive. Correljo the town is very touristy, tacky and nowhere near as nice as shopping in Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote. The dunes were lovely but you only got 10 mins there before moving on to the ‘restaurant’ for lunch. I use restaurant in a very loose sense. It was a temporary looking shelter next to a working building site. The food was ok but microwaved. The service a bit like a school canteen. The beach was lovely but be prepared it’s very rough and not suitable for small children or those who are not confident in the water. Boat trip back was very choppy. We loved it but then we were three teenagers and parents who h ave very good sea legs. Lots of people were throwing up. I would recommend the trip if you have exhausted Lanzarote, which is hard as there is so much to see and do on the island. Don’t waste your money on the trip into town or the lunch. Take the boat to and from and get a taxi to the dunes and beach. Best €10 Euros you will spend.

        Pros:
        - Get to see a lot of a nice island
        - Mountain point view is great
        - Tour was informative

        Cons:
        - The inclusive lunch was not very good, if I were to do this again I would pack my own
        - Felt like there was a lot of time on the coach and not enough time to walk around independently, we became very restless towards the end of the day

We visited for the day and as it was nice and hot , a journey sat on the top of the boat was fantastic , we were chased by flying fish which seem to appear from under the boat ,then launched up.and across the waves . You arrive at the port and it minutes to the town centre , the walk around and along the prom takes you past great restaurants lining the town beach . ,we headed for the shops in the newly refurbished shopping area ,smart pedestrianised walk thes you through small local shops carrying many interesting local craft and designer clothes shops , the main brands are all represented with several good duty free specialists including several jewellery designer watch shops . Towards the end of the main thourhfare is a large shopping centre with brands like Zara and funde Grube . Port to the shopping area takes 10 mins walk , the beach is superb golden sands surrounded by nice eating places . Going the other way back to the port is an older cobbled street area this has many taps bars and restaurants ,the promenade has fantastic clear sea views on your way back to the boat lined with nice hotels with great places to eat . Busses stop at the port if you want to travel further round the island the boat journey takes 45 mins back to playa Blanca .

Booked a day trip from Puerto del Carmen to Corralejo. We were picked up near our hotel by coach, and drove down to Playa Blanca, where we boarded the Fred Olsen ferry across to Corralejo. We spent an enjoyable day walking around Corralejo then returned to catch the 5pm ferry back to Playa Blanca, arriving after a 25 minute crossing, then a coach journey back to Puerto del Carmen. Our travel guide spoke English, Spanish and German and was a lovely helpful lady. We had a very enjoyable day out and paid 28 euros each, which I felt was great value for money. Booked this trip with an excursions office opposite the Fariones supermarket, lovely young girl who was so helpful. Would highly recommend this day out.

Went on this trip with TUI. Caught the fast ferry across and this takes about 30mins. Reasonably smooth on the trip out but much choppier on the way home early evening but not enough to spoil the day. We visited a small town very popular with surfers (can't remember the name) where we had time for a coffee (really nice and so reasonably priced too.) We had spare time to wander around before heading back to the Port for a couple of hours free time where we found a nice cafe near the beach and, of course, did some shopping. From there we took another bus trip to the famous Sand Dunes which were spectacular and were given free time to stay on the beach to swim or whatever. We travelled back to the ferry and then dropped off at our Hotel. All in all a super day out.

We have stayed on Fuerteventura many times and have in the past (April of this year) taken a day trip to Lanzarote. In September, whilst on holiday in Lanzarote we took a day trip to Fuerteventura. We used the Romano company. 27 euros for an adult, return. Good sailing times, good ferries. Great staff, and a superb day out. 45 mins crossing time. And on the day we went, the captain diverted for about 10 mins to whale watch a pod of whales who crossed our path. Fantastic
